Hi thanks for video. The Wife was looking to replace kettle and toaster 😬 so you’ve saved me £60plus. My middle screw was a torx screw in case anyone else can’t remove it. Outside screws Phillips.
You have saved me from replacing my broken toaster!!! Only been using one half of it for months as the other wasn’t working, and now it’s fixed! Incredible work! Thank you so so much.
Took me a while to find out that there are two more screws hidden behind the back rubber stoppers. Once I could open it, it was easy to clean and that sorted out the problem. Many thanks!
Brilliant that , nothing lasts anymore, my mother has one from 1984 , not a thing gone wrong in all the years , this new stuff is made not to last I think ! 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks from America! Was about to spend $200 on a new Smeg toaster, but my Breville is working again. My model appears to be impossible to open, but violent shaking and compressed air blasts did the trick.
Brilliant. I had taken the cover off several times and cleaned the inside but hadn't cleaned the little magnet. I was about to buy a new one then watched this. It now works. Good man.
Couldn't get in mine as the screws were triwings! Still toaster upside, shaking and hammering the lever seems to have fixed the problem, so your vid still inspired the solution- and saved me 60quid thanks
Great video, very helpful, saved us buying a new toaster, ours had some screws at the back also, star type in the middle and two normal screws in either corner which the feet had to be removed (easy enough with tweazers) to get to.
Great video but I still have 2 outside elements not heating. Left side all good and right side centre ones work. Doesn't seem to be a break in any wires either. Any advice please?
I have to replace a lost button on mine, I was able to obtain an extra defective unit so I have spare parts, just not sure how to remove the buttons, any advice?
Just done this and was a success. Something you think they could easily protect more if you think about it, but then again their sales would go down so i am guessing its a business decision not to innovate a solution for something as simple as crumbs in the way 🤔
I have the same problem and exact same toaster (model number the same) I’ve taken out the 3 screws I just can’t get mine apart even tried a 4th screw but I can’t find anymore
Thank you sir, this fixed the same problem for me - honestly the sensor area on the effected plate was not too bad on mine, only a couple of crumbs so I wondered if my issue lay a little deeper, though sure enough, I cleaned that area out, but it back together and it's working again!
Hello, I do not know if you can answer me but I have a problem with my cash register. I don't know why when you want to make a header it is not saved correctly. I don't know if you know any solution

Just tried your advice and it was spot on, haven't used the right hand side for months and now we can. Thank you for your helpful video.

Same here. There I was armed with both Philips and Torx screwdrivers and it chucked that curve ball at me! 😂
Oh boy, brilliant, took me twenty minutes, job done, thank you.
I whacked my Breville 3 times on the counter. Worked a treat
Thankyou. Likewise. Saved the toaster from the unnecessary bin and me dismantling and forgetting how to assemble it.
Thanks man, saved me buying another toaster and a bit of landfill waste!
Worked for me! 20 minutes, took me longer to find a screw driver small enough to fit in the holes :)
Thank you for sharing this video, you just saved us buying a new toaster.

This worked! Although I did have to remove 6 screws, 2 of which needed a very specialist hexagonal bit which fortunately my neighbour had.
Awesome stuff mate!
Just saved me £22, cheers buddy!
Thanks for this video. We had the same toaster and it wasn't staying down. Taken apart and found lots of crumbs.
Thanks for this, just saved myself £45 on a new one!
Yep, sorted a similar machine for me. I had to use a file on the points as they were very dirty. Many thanks! 👌
Brilliant thanks, saved me buying a new toaster

Thank you very much. This video enabled me to resolve problem without removing buttons, which is a faff!
Great tip, worked on my toaster. Thanks.

Sadly, that didn't work for me! Any other suggestions, please?
