I've just found your channel and love your take on our beautiful country 😍. It's so lovely to hear such positive experiences! A few recommendations I'd make are, if you haven't already, make time to view platypus, they are just adorable! Give a lemon myrtle cheesecake a try and watch "The Man from Snowy River" and "Strictly Ballroom". Also the chicken salt thing is funny. Our family bring our own (and lemon juice) when we order from the fish and chip shop because we can't get enough of the stuff, but when I was in the USA I found it strange they had salt and vinegar with their hot chips. To each their own🤷♀️
My brother and his wife lived in Darwin for over 30 years and always complained about the heat .. though they did wear a jumper down here in Bris in summer now and then when visiting 😅 On the other hand we travelled up to Darwin at Christmas time and made sure we had a swimming pool and aircon wherever we stayed.. ☀️☀️The best part was that there were very few tourists up there at that time of the year

Remember they only have 2 seasons up there the dry and the wet , so plan it really well for the dry season. When in the army around 1971 we went on an exercise around Christmas and belive me it can poor it down in the wet season. They wanted to know how we would cope in heavy rain and I kid you not I ran across a road and it was not wide there was shelter on both sides. There was large drops of rain falling and they came up to my knees when i got to the other side i was wet through i had to ring out ALL my cloths yes and my indies. No I am not short 6 ft.

Can understand why you like winter the best. Spring a close 2nd. Croc Dundee would be No 1 in most Australian's lists for the best movie. No whinging poms in the worst. Oh gosh, we absolutely do not script - that’s why our videos are a bit silly, because we don’t know what’s going to come out! Some channels do, but that does not work for our style or personalities. Shouldn't have too many complaints about these lists. Vegemite is a go or no for many and if not grown up eating it, it's just not the same. Let's face it, who likes peanut butter and jelly? Only if you grow up in the U.S.
Queensland is fine if you can stand the heat and humidity in summer.
Whitsundays is under rated as most head to Cairns and Port Douglas. Can understand why you like winter the best. Spring a close 2nd.

Oh gosh, we absolutely do not script - that’s why our videos are a bit silly, because we don’t know what’s going to come out! Some channels do, but that does not work for our style or personalities.

Oh that’s awful. It’s very much on our minds where we live - we had a python visit the dog garden on Thursday, and although not venomous, our dogs are so tiny that we have to be very careful x

Being in high school in the 60's, my science teachers always said "data"---never "darta". I put this change down to all computer talk coming from the U.S. To me , using the word darta looks like an attempt to sound posh.

Not the best movie but one that makes you think . Stone ,, 70's motorcycle movie that was BEFORE mad max .. With the intro it makes you think about indigenous Australia , how we are screwing the environment , all well before it became popular , Corrupt politicians etc . Its dated but it was very true to real life at the time . Watch it and remember Sandy wrote it, acted in it and raised the money to make it and it was a great success . The funeral parade is legendary ,
