Years ago I took my little brother fishing on the allegheny river at the mouth of a creek (he was 7 , I was 18) . We were using creek chubs . He caught a 28" tiger muskie . Never saw a happier kid in my life . He just passed away at 43yrs old . Thanks for reminding me of a great time . Tight lines Bud .
I want to tell you how much I appreciate how you stayed calm. If you notice, most of the time (not always), if the one fishing freaks out, then the fish freaks out. If you stay calm, the fish will be calm, as you demonstrated. 👏👏👏👍
Love pike man I’m from Scotland we catch them all the time seen my uncle catch a 38lb pike things head was bigger than mine that’s the fish I want but my pb is 24lb I also caught a few nice pike on the 3D suicide duck that’s a good lure to look at if you’ve not got it already,
Shallow water monsters! I love it! I had a creek like that years ago. After releasing many in a few hours, the tanks would hang out under our duck stiff. So much fun!
Why do y'all enjoy fishing so much? I find it kind of boring. Maybe not boring but just not a lot of fun. Baseball is boring. Real boring. So why fishing if you don't keep what you've caught?
@@presidenttnediserp428 I don’t speak for everyone but I love to fish because I get to be surrounded with nature and beautiful scenery. The fights the fish out up are fun too!
Yeah this guy is an excellent fisherman, is always calm and relaxing and he's from my neck of the woods which is pretty cool. All of his videos are great
I love your videos you make it look so relaxing you make it so lovable it’s like sometimes lately that I’ve been going out for 34 hours can’t get a bite can’t get a fish and it’s been like ass for about 30 other kayakers and boaters certain places and getting hit about it but I enjoy watching your top water hits🎉🎉🎉 specially the smallmouth
Used to live in Indiana. If I remember right the fishing was just okay. Easy to catch Karp and some river fish, but not many deep lakes. Minnesota, and Wisconsin (🤮) have lots of pike.
There are many lakes in Northern Indiana with lots of pike, and musky-- Lake Webster, Bruce Lk, the Barbee Chain, the Tippecanoe Chain, among others, mostly in Kosciusko and Pulaski Counties--
Awesome! I just bought a whole set of rats in different sizes and colors! All because of you! You cost me a lot of money lol! Can you share with us what size rod, line and what kind/color of leader you use! Awesome! Nice job! Love your videos!
Them up close pike strikes in a kyack can really scare ya lol I hooked one that broke open my quick snap and took my 75 perch looked like a q stick exploded
I caught four on Monday, all over ten pounds, the last one jumped out of the water right beside my kayak, I was lifting my tube out for another cast and he jumped for it, scared the hell out of me.😂
Nice fish, cool lure and a good video 🤙🏼 I have seen 45lbs pike caught out of the Great Lakes here in Canada. I have never caught one that big but my dad and his friend were on the news because of the monsters they were pulling from shore even!
Awesome! It’s been a little tough the past couple weeks with the hot weather but I’ve been mostly trying for muskie and pike. I went after bass over in MN today and caught a bunch!
The river I fish the pike are really aggressive in April around one particular very shallow slow water moving area. In summer they move to where the river barely feels like it flows at all.
Please understand me correctly, but every time i watch your nature, i always see the nature of my country, it is Russia. If your state is north Dakota, be informed that it is 100% the same as in Saint Petersburg, Russia 😊
I’ve seen a lot of videos from Russia where the landscape is very similar to here in North Dakota. Probably about the same weather too, nice summers but it’s harsh snowy winters.
LOL in one short you got people in the comments arguing whether a pike and a muskie are the same thing and in this video you're wondering whether you caught a pike or a muskie. I live right by a lake in Missouri where they stock muskellunge but I haven't had the pleasure of hooking one... Yet I love the lures you use, also great casting!

I have the same lure and caught a 16.5 inch bass on it Friday July 14 2023 definitely recommend can be found with his famous duck lure at most fleet farms the rat is about 25 bucks and the duck comes in at about 20 I had to share because I searched for these two lures for about 5 years
I was out throwing the 40 size rat for smallies tonight! I saw they had the new ones at Fleet Farm the other day. As far as I could tell the only difference from the older version is the tail.
I understand if you don't want to share but that spillway you were fishing about four years ago when you nailed 8 muskies in a few hours what was that place called
I get the impression from watching these videos pike and musky will attack anything swimming through the water including snakes, frogs, ducks, rats, etc...
I'm about to throw one of these for some big largemouth, I know they're there, and they'll get motivated at the right bait but I'm thinking this or a duckling will work great early AM

Wow that’s a big pike and I am so sorry for your loss
Rip fly high
Damn right in the feels, take care bromigo.
So happy you got to be there and share that experience with him.
No skinny dipping in that river!
Might attack your worm?
wrong kinda bait balls

afraid for his minnow 😆
The whole atmosphere of this was awesome. A gorgeous day, hearing the birds, and to top it off, catching a nice big pike.
I’ve been fishing for fifty years and when I’m not I’m watching you … got to love them pike and Muskie 🍀
I want to tell you how much I appreciate how you stayed calm. If you notice, most of the time (not always), if the one fishing freaks out, then the fish freaks out. If you stay calm, the fish will be calm, as you demonstrated. 👏👏👏👍
He doesn't even get excited when he catches 2 on one lure.
Gotta love topwater action
topwater at nite is brutally fabulous!
Lure came out in the net. Nice job netting that fish
It always amazes me
When they hit the top water so subtle. Like compared to a small mouth that jumps like a foot in the air and swallows it 😂😂
Out of all the freshwater fish I’ve never seen any jump like small mouth. I wonder why they like jumping so much. They’re good at shaking hooks too.
Love pike man I’m from Scotland we catch them all the time seen my uncle catch a 38lb pike things head was bigger than mine that’s the fish I want but my pb is 24lb I also caught a few nice pike on the 3D suicide duck that’s a good lure to look at if you’ve not got it already,
I absolutely love his videos and the big fish that he catches

That lure is Epic my friend. 1st time I've seen a giant caught on the rat. Awesome action! 💯 🛶 🎣
This is the coolest thing I’ve watched in a while
His long videos are sick

Lake Michigan has some MONSTER NORTHERN PIKE in it ! I've seen them in the harbors when I walk the piers ! 30 lbs.+
Getting new kayak registered today! I pumped to get it out and start a new hobby!

Awesome topwater as usual. I’ve never caught a pike before. Northern Indiana must not have very many.
Go up into Michigan or Wisconsin, plenty of pike!

I live in Northern Indiana for 9 years we would easily catch like 50 to 100 bluegill and crappie a night would have a fish fry right after wards
Their tiger Muskie galore in some of the lakes
This guy is always so calm when catching these huge fish.
....
Epic fish man!! I would love to catch one of these some day!!
Spro bbz rat is a killer! I've caught so many bass on that thing.
Awesome fish and video! Nicely done

That almost looks like the kishwaukee River here in Winnebago county Illinois.
I love my rat. much love from Houston Tx
I need to get one! Much love from Indy (originally from Sabinal Texas!)

Sweeeeet! Gotta love a big fish biting hard!
Great fish! My favorite fishing is Pike and Musky on top water baits
Nice .Big pike on interesting lure 👍👍👍🇺🇦
I like that lure as much as the pike hated your landing net!
Love it when the hook comes off 'In The Net'.
Had one swimming under my pond prowler last week . Little smaller but awesome to see. Going to try the rat . Thanks .
what a great fisherman you are
Dude catches all the fish! Probably why its 10000 casts for the rest of us haha 🤣 😊
I tried one of these a couple years ago. I couldn't freaking believe how well it worked.
I love it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Quick lil two seconds; quick lil Cyber bullying
Wow awesome catch

Awesome! It’s been a little tough the past couple weeks with the hot weather but I’ve been mostly trying for muskie and pike. I went after bass over in MN today and caught a bunch!
@@ndyakangler is the bass fishing better in Minnesota? Some of spots I was fishing looked ideal for largemouth but I just caught Pike all day

Them Spro bbz1 rats are awesome!!
One of my favorite lures! I’m glad Spro started making them again!
Looks like a Spro BBZ rat... they have great action. I have several in different sizes and enjoy watching bowfin wake behind and crush them!
“...On the rat”. Caught the Fargo accent there.
Man I lost a 40+ inch pike the other day. Absolute heart break. Nice catch lol
That's Catch and Release!!!!
Sick eat dude 🤙🏼
Based on the size I would have thought Muskie too! Nice fish!
Yo también quiero vivir ese maravilloso sueño señor Pool
Northern Manitoba has redefined the phrase "big pike" for me. ND had legit fishing, but good grief Canada is on fire (literally and figuratively lol)
fishing in canada is somethin else
Saludos y gracias por los videos saludos desde Barcelona España Catalunya
Gotta love a nice pike😙👌
Love watching these! Do you have an outrigger on your kayak?

Never seen someone catch a fish so casually
Big baits catch big fish
I wish I lived in an area with pike and musky
Pike , musky …….they are both fun to catch 😂Lmao
Nice catch! Why do they tive up so easy? That's a big fish.
Their fight really depends on the time of year you catch them. This was late spring, not long after spawn when they’re not in peak fighting shape.
It's big nice catch
