- Yousician is the world's largest music educator, and has helped many beginner guitarists progress. Rocksmith, a contender of yousician, is another tremendously popular guitar teacher alternative for beginner guitarists. "Amped Guitar Learning" combines the best of both guitar learning games to achieve an unexpectedly effective result. The game features guitar lessons for a variety of legendary artists, including: Ed Sheeran, Pixies, The Beatles, and more!! Additionally, it's less expensive than yousician. All factors considered, it's an extremely enticing option for beginner guitarists looking for an easy way to learn.
"Amped Guitar Learning" is a guitar learning app available exclusively in the app store. It was designed by guitar teachers, providing a full curriculum for beginner guitarists. It's become one of my favourite guitar practice tools in the short time I've been using it. It's also available as a free guitar learning app , with limited song selection.
If you're interested in Yousician or Rocksmith as online guitar learning options, Amped is definitely an option worth considering. As a free app, I think it's superior to Yousician. It would also work as an excellent companion to JustinGuitar. As a paid app, because of the yousician price, Amped guitar is a better option. I'd consider it among the best online guitar lessons, much better than fender play.

You absolutely got to my main problem at the end there. I started on Fender Play and I’ve been doing Yousician. After three months I’m on Level 7 in Yousician. The one thing Fender Play gets right is the same one thing Yousician gets wrong. At Level 7 I should be playing real music, not Yousician music, which is basically just exercises in music form. Much of the ‘music’ in Yousician isn’t musical; almost none of it has you thinking, “Yeah, I want to learn how to play that!” Even their selection of songs outside the lessons are the sort of stuff you might find in a record store where every album is a dollar or less. Fender Play sucks, but at least they teach actual music, not just guitar lessons.
So now in my fourth month of playing guitar I figure I’ll keep going on learning techniques in Yousician-exactly like being on a treadmill as you said-but I need to start playing some actual music on this thing.

Loved this review. They have since raised the price to $114/year. It seems to have a time gated free mode, like Yousician. Not sure which I prefer, will need to spend more time with it but 7 day trial is too short...
Rocksmith is the way to go, no monthly fee, buy only the songs you want and have them forever.

Hey, Thursday I bought my first guitar
Before, I watched many videos, yours included, and I was very motivated

There's a squillion youtube instructors. Where you start is pretty much up to you - i'd suggest Justin Guitar, his youtube channel is a brilliant resource but there are plenty of others.
If you just want to be able to strum something for you to sing along to, you just need to learn a few chords and you're good.

Fred Amped Guitar I enjoy the sight reading. I have a hard time to sight read tabs, it’s blurry for me when it moves in time but I still enjoy using tabs at a slower pace. It has an amazing library that keeps growing every week, the authentic tones. Making lead paths that also play solos of other instruments to make it more unique and to sound like the song. And I like multiplayer with my dad and girlfriend
