    Thank You, Good information. I was looking at 2022 both bikes, NOW I know what the difference is. I have an 08 foreman, it is Carbureted, air/oil cooled, has foot shift. It has the 12 V outlet, but no electric front diff locker. Apparently it HAS a locker, activated with the front brake.I hope it lasts as long as I do. I have 4500 kilometers on it . I try to take good care + maintenance on it. I do as much as I can myself . I run ITP tires, same vintage as my bike. Not the tactor tire tread tires. They are radial and they LOOK similar to the old square-lug trike tires. I do not really notice the benefit of "radial" tires. they seem maybe a bit more stable than stock and seem to be long wearing.

    Best comparison on youtube hands down! I think im going with the foreman for my next bike. The only reason I was considering the Rancher is because where I live in Newfoundland Canada you see a lot of older Ranchers still in great running shape compared to the foreman but im thinking its probably just because they are cheaper so more people own them. I heard someone say the Rancher feels alot lighter and more nimble when trail riding would you say that as well or not really noticable? Thanks for the video really looking forward to future content!!!!

    • @ArizonaKid
      @ArizonaKid  4 года назад +6

      JGUNIV Gunn , well the Rancher is 60 lbs lighter than the foreman . So it would feel lighter . And if you live in Canada , that front locker will help in snow and mud on the foreman . Thanks for watching

    Our ranch is like a fish bowl and off camber trails and grove access points
    Would one of these be stable enough with 4 crates of citrus about 200-250 pounds on both front and rear racks?

    I'm still trying to decide on which one to buy between the two, is the foreman seat size any bigger or is the foreman any more roomy? I'd be riding with my girlfriend a lot so this is my biggest concern when choosing between the two. I also like how the foreman has the diff lock.

    • @ArizonaKid
      @ArizonaKid  3 года назад +3

      I’d say buy Foreman , seat same size , but over all bike seams bigger than Rancher . And with two people I’d want a Foreman and buy a cabelas box . I have video on that . Is that Foreman manual shift with EPS ? Which model ? And what’s your opinion on that manual vs DCT ?

    • @ArizonaKid
      @ArizonaKid  2 года назад +1

      No power steering and I like Manuel shift. . Less to brake down in my opinion

    • @NorthwoodsNomad
      @NorthwoodsNomad 2 года назад

      @@ArizonaKid I agree ☝️ I’m old school , I like shifting, it gets you more engaged with the machine and allows you to interact for more responsive feedback between you and the machine and the terrain. I’d opt for the EPS for sure though, I think it holds its own weight to greatly benefit in tight technical riding conditions and makes it an effortless affair.
      Nice bike ! I was looking at this foreman or stepping up to the rubicon EPS , but I kinda like the SRA just for it’s ruggedness as well . Not to mention the cost savings . Something else I wanted to touch base on is you mention that 518cc engine only produces an extra 2hp , but I’m pretty sure it’s the torque is where you gain the big advantage ( I’m not sure what those numbers are ) I’m just guessing, there HAS TO be a significant increase in torque over the 420cc engine when we’re talking an extra 98cc bore size . I don’t know , I’m just trying to justify it in my head what the purpose would be to add a larger bore engine if there are no real gains ( just more fuel consumption) speaking of fuel consumption, how do the two compare in that department ?
