  • Piñatas are fun (any maybe a little dangerous) for parties and also cheap and easy to make! This one was made of amazon boxes, streamers, some scrap paper and hot glue.
    You creativity is the limit and perhaps your recyclables!

    Amazing work great job! In addition to the pinata, we also get fireworks, ravioli and pierogi from China because they are basically dumplings. Believe it or not, Marco Polo also saw the bao bun being made but he only saw half of it and that's how he got the idea of pizza.

      I had no idea, but that makes so much sense! Thanks for sharing ☺️

      @@miscakeshappen By the way, we plan to have a pinata for our party. Does it go before or after the cake? What do you think?

      @@AnneThaiHero Awesome! We usually do it after the cake...but I think do whatever makes sense for you 😊

      @@AnneThaiHeroAfter the cake would be much better. If you do it before, the kids will eat all the candy and might not want any cake

    Whatd you use to hold the piñata up at the top of it? I often see string?

      For the part on top of the pinata I just used a wire (usually found at any craft store by the floral section). I just twist it to create a loop, stick it through and hot glue the wire to the inner side of the cardboard with another little piece of cardboard ( like a cardboard sandwich to make it extra strong). Then you thread any variety of thickish string through the wire loop to hang/move the pinata. I hope that helps!

    Where do u leave a hole for the candy?

      @miscakeshappen  10 месяцев назад

      Ah yes! After I hot glued the cardboard together I carved a little flap on the top of one of the ears before I added the tissue paper. To make it easier to open I fold a piece of tape at the lip :).

    Did you add another piece of cardboard on the other side or did you just use the newspaper?

    • @miscakeshappen
      @miscakeshappen  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! For this one I just used the newspaper since it was for a party of 4-6 year olds so I wanted it to be easier to break. If the party is for bigger kids/teenagers and beyond then I'd recommend using another piece of cardboard :)

      This is made just from recycling amazon boxes! So if you shop online you can use the box it ships in :). If you have no box available you can always get some from Home depot.
