Cortez Johnson I mean in that one five-second riff you can’t really define one way or the other. Guitar tone is pretty close between the two and it’s literally only the low growl that makes me not think hardcore. Hardcore has some pretty loose edges in definition though, especially when talking about “breakdowns” in the songs.
This is the most brutally beautiful live show ever. We saw them with Gojira, whom I absolutely love, but when KL was done, I was left sorta like, "Well what the hell now, Gojira?"
