It don’t matter what it looks like as long as it’s comfy for you and the Mrs. Also one must hydrate Tuesday for Wednesday and so on, in this heat you just can’t catch up and don’t forget the electrolytes.
Bars look great. If your going with a HD seat, I'll put this out there. For long 2 up trips like you guys do, the Air Flow seat cover is amazing! Size 3XL fits on the Sundowner & I promise you it will be the best $80 you ever spend on your bike. Does it look cool... heck no. BUT, the seat temp is 30 degrees cooler sitting out in the sun & way cooler temps when riding. No more sweaty Arse either. Even offers some more comfort. Just saying my friends
Sam is not comfortable, the seat is stiff and we have thousands of miles on it. Susan is comfortable on it as the 2up rider. The hammock is much more comfortable & soft. Sams back doesn't hurt and his butt doesn't go numb. The gel also gets hot. Once it gets warm in the sun, it stays warm.
@@2upjourneyjunkies Thanks for the reply. My concern is the seat is hard. I have hip and lower back issues so I thought the seat would help but it doesn’t sound like it. I haven’t heard about the gel getting hot that’s a big concern I live in Jax FL. I also have a Hammock seat on my 18 Fat Boy. I will probably just stick with it on both bikes. Thank you. @@Southern_Hogz it is not an extended reach. I do usually run an extended reach too on my other seats. It is fine on our roadglide but it does put me too close on the Streetglide.
@2upjourneyjunkies Thanks! I put on the Adam Sandoval seat a while back, and it does me fine until I'm on it for about 6 hours.. so I'm contemplating on swapping in the future.
@@Southern_Hogz we understand that! Our CVO seat we can go about 5 hrs. We were on the hammock for 10 hrs & 6 hrs another day and neither one of us was sore at all! We have a 13 hr trek coming up, so we will put it to the test! 😂

We use the hammock seat, exclusively. Had ours recovered for looks, but we run 30k miles per year, comfort is a big deal.
