The realization on Matt's face when he realized Jamie was telling him how to drive that Tahoe was the best.
🤣the tires on that Suburban, looks like it skipped leg day.
That type of "high-performance" tire might work well on asphalt, but they appear to function like crap if on an SUV in sandy conditions.
I'm pretty sure this was 3 weeks ago today. I saw the crew headed back from the SxS recovery as I was headed to our AirBNB. The outdoor temperature sensor in my rental car was reading 109°F.
Also, I learned why it's called Hurricane on the Monday night after that SxS recovery! That sand storm was wild!
Hurkin 🙂
I'm not sure sure what the time frame for film to upload is. But I did see the truck that was pulling van that was converted to a film developing studio, IIRC, not long after the video was posted. He was down in Southern Arizona at that point.
Loved them telling Matt what to do when he climbed behind the wheel of the Tahoe.
Anyone who goes out in the desert should have a couple extra gallons of water, a fire extinguisher, and a shovel. Don't park in dry grass.
One of the nicest, best things you can do...publicly acknowledge how fantastic your Mom's cooking is! 👍💪
Jayme telling Matt to keep his wheels straight and not to run over the rope was priceless. LOL
Seeing the younger members of this extended family come into their own is nothing short of inspirational.
I agree. The kids are doing an amazing job!
Caitlin invented the broke side by side dance.
Reheated spaghetti is the best thing there is. Regarding people scratching their names or initials into the rocks, that can often be treated as a crime.
Yeah that is good. But, I think that day old cold Chinese food is better.
@Occuria1 Everyone is entitled to their own likes. I personally don't care for Chinese food. We have a Chinese restaurant near me that has great macaroni and cheese. And I also like their batter-dipped chicken. They make it for sweet and sour chicken, but I don't like the sauces, which are separate. They make very good fried potatoes, too. That is my foray into Chinese.
I think Kaulin underestimated how hot that trailer is. In a 103f that trailers surface temp is probably 130-150f at the least. Great video as always tho!
The B team is so full of cheer! I'm loving their energy. The SxS are getting really long, time to build a new trailer?
It has been time for a while. They have too many irons in the fire.
They're building the 6x6 for picking up SxS. *shrug* I guess it's a longer job than building a trailer though.
I passed up an opportunity to move to this area in 2020 and discovered MORR sometime after. Now every time I watch a video I regret not moving when I had the chance
I'd love to live there!
Im enjoying seeing the Kaulin and crew running their own recoveries and it's a good thing theres "no trees" in Utah for that burb to burn down....lol
Well done Jamie! you kept the customer calm and told him what you wanted him to do. wasn't sure if he was the kinda guy who pays attention..
I didn't get it at first, Well done. War.
Did he get a T-shirt?
They don't make truck with bumpers anymore. With all of that plastic tow hooks should be a standard feature!
That is sooooo true!!! If I had a truck without tow hooks, I would put some on it..
Kaulin, thank you for the public service announcement. It’s sad that people actually have to remind people not to do this kind of stuff .
Leave it better than you found it is the rule 👍👊
It’s on my bucket list (it’s a short list) to someday to visit Sand Hollow, and see the Flintstone house . I am in Arizona so it should be doable one of these days.
"Don't Run Over My Rope" is the new "don't step on my toes"
No matter when the video comes out, you can always tell when it was filmed on a Wednesday.
Thanks Katelynn 👍🏻
I saw that road when someone else drove into that hole.. about a year? 18 months? Ago. But I just want to say that a fire is a real hazard when we are out there. If we are moving, not so much BUT IT COULD BE. That exhaust is hot enough and, when you get stuck and sink down a bit, the brush can be against the pipe. When you are moving, some brush can lodge into the exhaust and you leave a trail of sparks. That is REALLY bad. Just parking in a field can start a fire. This why you should ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher on board, plus some extra water. I am so glad they did not lose the Tahoe to the fire. Good job on people responding to help out.
The Vandalism is sickening. We have some petroglyph's out on a very popular trail on the Olympic Peninsula beaches. Breaks my heart to see them covered with the initials of idiots. I consider a single cigarette butt to be a massive problem and, when something escapes me to become litter, I still feel badly, but it helps to know I leave it cleaner than when I found it. PLease, folks. Even those cigarette butts. Let's keep the ORV's on the roads and trails, the litter where it belongs, and never leave anyone stranded.
Blessings, my friends.
The echo effect of Matt’s “thoughts” while he was in the Connex box is genius level editing!
Good morning Kaulin is definitely one of a kind. I loved the sound effect he did with his phone.
He does add comity makes being around him fun
I was just thinking this passed week that I haven’t seen a driving montage with Garage Sale playing in a while! Love that combo! Keep it up!
I once told a customer " i want you in reverse, but no gas. and as soon as you're out i want you to put it in neutral and let me drag you a bit" .. Next thing i knew i got him full throttle into the back of my 4x4. (not saying this customer is dumb, but some are!). Love the content Matt!
That RZR had Schroedinger's steering: it can steer left. And right. At the same time. 😂😁😜
Kaulin will make a great successor . You should be very proud Matt. He has just as much pride in it as you do and can’t wait to see you guys grow.
wait don't predecessors come before?
@@rodneymartin6154
Yea you’re right. I f***** that up. I did mean successor. lol
Progression in editing. This channel is setting the standard for the future. Love❤it❤
Catalytic converters are great for setting things on fire
They came and put the fire out but didn't get them unstuck? How rude!
They leave it to the experts, aka Matt and his team.
Sounds like the sands are heating up! Time to tune up the rides and air down them tires. Fun one today great job all.
Best recovery crew on the internet love watching you guys!
Nice collection of recoveries . Thanks for sharing !
There is nothing I love more than waking up before work and having a MORR video to jump start my day.
Suburban with pretty city tires and rims, not made for sand. I hope you taught them about that, there again, could be content for another video 😁🤣
Love your videos, thank you muchly
That suburban looks so funny with low profile tires
It sure looked like a Tahoe, not a Suburban, despite what they said in the video.
@@JT_70 I agree
@@JT_70 I wonder if the Tahoe emblems on the front doors and rear hatch might be a clue. Let me think.
@@quantumss hmmmm... suburban it is
Looks like bald low profile tires
Love the ending. Kaulin and Kaitlyn are doing a really good job.. 🤣👍👊
Kaytlin says "when I was a growing up" I shudder to think about how recently that was and am glad it remained untold.
The razer must have had an argument the driver wanted to go one way the passenger wanted to go the other.😂
As always, good recoveries! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
All the recoveries in this video were not too hard . It's nice not to have to work too hard especially when it's real hot outside.
Love when Jamie told Matt how to drive! Gold.
Like a desert igloo has me dying 😂
Kaulin, great story on learning to tie down a side by side. A bunch of us probably learned something today.
yeah always anchor to the wheel or least-moving lower suspension part. For the pickups I haul it's on the lower control arm out by the ball joint/wheel.
Nobody that watches this channel would carve their name in something like that.
Have you considered having a small drone as a part of your recovery kit? It would enable you to get a birds eye view over a wider area when searching for a poorly pinned vehicle.
They have one, but the drone pilot wasn't with then that day
It;s Great to here the Old Music, I love it.......👍
Thanks Matt and peeps
I just realized Matt didn’t have on the regular tow shirt or his classic flower shirt god dang ole boy looked normal 😂 blended right in didn’t he haha love the content
Where's Hefe?
i was watching a video, saying he left Morr to work in a totally different area (some kind of industry if i recall correctly)
@@derrick5594 Did he get to keep the Bronco? 😮
@@saginawdanobviously. It was a thank you for everything he’s done for them.
I was wondering the same but Matt said in a video or two ago that everyone was on holiday including Hefe.
@@saginawdan he probably did. i think he totally deserved to keep.
5:12 wow, those eyelashes popped nicely with Kaitlyn's (Caitlin's?) excitement at stopping at The Flintstone House ❤🎉
The whip sound has me cracking up. Love these kids.
The Flintstone house that's cool thanks for showing it to us
@@theuglytruth8162except the customer was already gone on that particular job.
@@theuglytruth8162 Customer wasn't even with the side-by-side and really it was probably a 5 minute detour. They spent way more time trying to find the vehicle since the pin was off......
@@theuglytruth8162 "customer pays to sit in the heat?" You got things twisted.
@@patmccrady6063 What did "theuglytruth" say that got his post deleted?

Loved the live stream guys! Super fun getting a sneak peek at the spud truck and hearing answers to all the questions!! ❤
GREETINGS FROM DENMARK ... THE ONE UP 55´NORTH

So, When the Pin is Off....Ever "Launch The Drone"....
'Off it goes, into the Hot blue yonder....'...
@5:54 Wondering why the Air Force Song was being sung...definitely wasn't expecting that!
"Let's keep it natural"
Meanwhile, all the rocks are blackened from the tire rubbings of off-roaders
All luck and happiness wished for Matt and the recovery family !!!
Do you remember watching cartoons when you were a kid and you were glued to the screen for every seen, this is just as good. I like all the characters move.
Hey Matt It was nice teamwork on all the jobs.
'Tis a life-enhancing show, full of good people
Kind of surprised you guys wear black t-shirts in the summer Sun & Heat. white shirts in the summer would be cooler. Love the channel & can't wait to come out Wheelin & see the Grandkids. They're only couple minutes or so from the shop in Hurricane. Love my Matt's Off Road Flag the Kids sent for Father's Day✔️
In Australia we don't trust Apple maps or their PINS....
I was coming back home from Minnesota with my Dodge 2500 4x4 pulling a 25 foot camp trailer in a snowstorm once, and my GPS wanted me to turn off of the plowed and sanded freeway and take a 2 lane road in the mountains. I said NO, and kept on driving. I then got the "recalculating" song. The little Honey that is trapped in my navigation even wanted me to turn around and go back. She eventually gave up and let me take the freeway.
@@BuilderofRat wow that's wild! A trucker in NE Oregon followed Maps off of the interstate (the ONLY ONE AROUND) and up into the mountains. He walked to the nearest town after he got stuck on a logging track, I think it took him 2 days? Good thing you used your common sense unlike that guy.
My video takeaway......Matt's work boots! Not cowboy boots. 😂 Shoes on the brain over here. 😂😂😂
MORR has to get his people light-colored shirts and hats for the hot summer months. Black is the last color someone should wear then it's over a 100.
100000000% facts
That assumption is not always correct. Many people around the world wear loose black clothing to stay cooler in the arid and semi-arid climates. It can work surprisingly well.
In such a cool and iconic place as the Flintstone House, when someone carves ANYTHING into the rock, they should spend time in prison for as long as it takes their carving to weather out.
My Morrvair makes me to rewatch every show...Big up my morrvair
I like how Matt's muscle memory tried to put his phone in his shirt's non-existent front pocket! And the 4x4 just spread his arms to welcome you guys!
I do that all weekend. My uniform during the week has a phone pocket in the shirt - weekend not so much
Lizzie is missed.
The little hottie cowgirl, howdy howdy ! Lets get rowdy! Lol. & her sisters dam
6:00 - the US Air Force adopted the song as their official Song - It's sang at every official occassion!!!! Thanks
5:45 I totally agree . That’s like carving your name and some special tree. Why would you do that when there’s so much more out there .
love the kids artistic freedom of filming their way,
From my experience as a roofer. if its 103 degrees out, black surfaces will be 25 to 30 plus degrees hotter.
So we got a call.
Who you gonna call?
@@cpt_nordbart MorrBusters! I ain't afraid of no dunes
'Off we go; into the wild blue yonder; so-of-b... 'er...gun! Lost again...😂
Now WHO goes into deep sand with a 2-wheeler on street tires? Deserve whatcha git.
At 13:30 you can tell the Tahoe has 4wd because of front tire slipping. But yeah, still a tire combo that will never work in that kind of sand.
It's a German tourist thing. Every year a few get culled from the herd in the southwest desert
And they had those low profile tires, those should only be allowed on sports cars because they suck on everything else specially off and road.
Boys with toys Colin at 15;04 I enjoyed the video . Yes vandalism is UNWANTED , we do not want to know they were there .
2wd, 6000 pounds, baloney skins for tires, and something tells them it would be a good idea to drive it offroad in the sand. Sometimes stupid needs to hurt a little more.
@joseywilds3133 Yeah, take off in a holiday hotel...and call it "camping"! 😂
Foreign people!
Ya caint fix STUPID!!😂
Be nice people. They possibly know nothing about sand or sandy conditions or anything related to keeping themselves safe on it.
Great stuff..as usual....just about choked on my tea laughing as you explained what you wanted from Matt,Jamie...slowly..in simple terms..for clarity..haha.
I keep hearing the BTO theme song You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet in the background. Creative re use of that song. 😂
Matt trying to put his phone into a pocket that’s not there 😂
Y’all need to keep some binoculars around to help spot vehicles
That side-by-side looked like it was manspreading
For those complainers about bald tires in sand, im just a city slicker in Toledo, Ohio and even i know and Like as If we havent seen Matt say it enough, Technically Bald tires have better traction in sand, the idea is to "float over the sand" as well as have a wide foot print, not have Agressive treads digging into it. So in conclusion Aired down bald to semi bald tires will perform the best and reduce the likelihood of getting stuck in the hot sand, cool sand/ Temp also has a big impact on tracking through it hot sand =less traction. So stop going to the sand dunes illequipped. Cheers
We were recently on a guided trip thru Hell’s Canyon and Hell’s Revenge in Moab. The 40” tires on the vehicle were almost slick from wear. The driver said that the slicker, the better for the sand and rocks and that they don’t like driving there on new tires with deep treads as they don’t grip as well.
great job on those recoveries, i think i would cry if i did that to my Razer 😢 thanks for sharing
Only 103 degrees? Greetings from Phoenix. If I die and go down below the first thing I'm going to ask old lucifer for will be a blanket to sleep under. Lived here since I was 10. I'm now two months away from 80. I love your videos. Keep um com`n.
I found it Funny How Matt tried putting his phone in his shirt pocket when he got out of the Banana but hes not wearing his uniform lol
Thanks Matt for the video 📹
People are why we can't have nice things. Never have understood why they think vandalizing something is a good thing.
Where is Jefe???
Weird how you don't update us when team members like Trevor and now Jefe for instance (who have been apart of the channel for years) decide to "move on" to other stuff, expect when it comes to Lizzy, Rudy and Tom Tom. I think they deserve that respect. And to be honest so does the community that watch these video's. Unless...they did something that dosen't deserve the public farewell to the MORR community. Just a little sus.
Yep, they weren't too stuck. When it's 103 out it is still dangerous. Be aware, bring extra water. At the least have a strap or kinetic rope so somebody can pull you out. Peace.
Not hotter than the air temperature. Just feels like it because metal is a good conductor and keep moving the heat to you hand as your cooler hand tries to cool it.
Metal feels colder in the winter too for the same reason.
That song they were singing after the Flintstine house was the Air Force song 😂
"Common Coby, 29°C ain't hot!!! 🔥☀️"
Thanks again for the video. Stay safe
That was all good recoverys ....team....Stay safe and see you on the next one
As someone who has skateboarded most of their life, standard Vans are some of the worst shoes for actual skateboarding use. The canvas upper shreds immediately, and the midsole often detaches from the upper. Their reputation as a good skate shoe is almost entirely based on marketing.
That’s called The Air Force Song. We need the Air Force Thunderbirds to do a show out there for you guys.👍😎
3:19 how you guys manage to survive in such a climate!
WHAT! Did I just hear the USAF song? A video bonus!
