You can switch off the tie-in and tie-off in the software to prevent those extra stitches at the start and finish. (Object properties, Connectors tab). Another informative video from you. Thanks, Gail.
@@BERNINAofNaperville yes, saw where you set the start/stop - that is my default position but I would still get the tie-in at the beginning if I didn’t switch it off too. Anyway, I learned something new today - I always learn something new from your videos. 😀
Hi Gayle, I love your videos but this one was mind blowing. I have a 480S and wondered about my machine having a USB port. My burning question is this: can I use the Creator v9 software on my IPad Pro? I am able to use a USB stick with the iPad.
Yes, that’s what I show in this video. Your B 770 cannot perform wide, multidirectional stitches, so you will have to keep your creations to 9mm or smaller.
I need to try this. There is some stitches that I have on an old Husqvarna that I would love to use on my Bernina. Maybee I can copy them? I hope so. Thank you for this video
When editing out those stitches on the machine is there an undo? What if I take out a stitch I wanted to keep? I learn something from everyone of your videos. Thanks so much for all of your demonstrations.
Yes it does. Are you making sure that you have selected the heart icon. Then expand the box like in the video. Choose the top folder. Then the usb stick option will show up. However, you need to make sure that you are sending the design from your computer to the USB like I did in the video. If you just save it, it saves as a .art which will not be read through this process.
@@sharontuckerlewis7325 oh. That. Yes, that is stitch designer (not edit icon). That feature is only available on a 790 plus or 880 plus. You have to clean it up in the software.
Your videos are so helpful you are a amazing teacher 😊
I am so happy to have learnt this technique, I thank you so so so much.
Never saw this before. Thanks ❤
Thanks, Gayle
Great instructional video!! Than you!!

Yes and at 12:14 we discuss that.

Bernina Embroidery software is only for PC computers.
I would like to see projects using g these techniques for ideas. Thx.
Very informative video. Can I design my signature as a 9mm stitch in v9? Will my 770 recognize it? Thanks

Hey Gayle. So I just got the software for Christmas. Are you saying I can do this on my 770 plus? I continue to be amazed by this software!!!
Yes. Just follow our instructions.

Undo is in the upper left corner of the stitch designer screen.
Does this work with the 770 QE Plus? I can’t pull the design up on my machine from a scan disc

I am able to pull the design into my machine, but I do not have the Edit icon. I cant clean it up.
