Just a super addition to my new790 pro. Love your videos, thank you Gayle. Diana UK
Your puppy is adorable! ❤
Helpful video. While the Multi Spool Holder seems easy enough, it did present some questions which you clear up (i.e. the bracket locate on the holder unit itself and its use). I like that it clears up my work area a bit.
Oh my gosh I got this for Christmas from my children. Love it. I was using little coffee mugs all around the back of my table to keep multiple colors close. My daughter said mama your machine cost thousands ditch the duck tape and coffee cups LOL.
I love mine! It makes thread changes so much faster when I do machine embroidery!
Thank you for the tutorials….own this for 7 yrs…love it ❤🇦🇪
Thank you for the inspiration! I have now installed my spool holder that purchased last fall. It was so easy!
❤ I have that for my 770 and I love it so much, especially for embroidery. I never thought of getting one for my 480. It’s a thought 🥰
Love mine!!
Thank you! That was very helpful!
Thanks for this. I have had this for quite awhile and never used it. Duh
I love mine and use it every time.
Thanks! This was so helpful in deciding whether to go ahead and purchase the MSH for my Bernina!
thanks so much for this tutorial. I wasn't sure how to put this on my QE B570. My first impression was it wasn't going to work. Buy you walked me thru it. The only thing I wasn't sure and you didn't touch on it in the video was screwing in the thread spacer arm (or whatever you call it) The chrome thing that separates the threads. It looks like a screw it to hold it in place.
Yes. You put the pole in the hole and screw the screw in. Didn’t think it needed an explanation.
I received the spool holder for my birthday, I watched and used your very helpful video to assemble. I was most disappointed when I realized my box did not include the cutest little puppy. I have taken my issue up with the gifting office, my husband 😂. Joking aside, super helpful video - thanks!
Thanks very much for this video. Is it okay to have multiple spools of thread going under the little the bracket at the same time? For example, if I using four spools, is it okay to leave four threads under the bracket so that all I have to do is thread through the machine?
The thread must be unobstructed or else it will twist with other thread causing a tangle. I’d only using four threads each of those thread ends may stay in the telescopic supports.
Hi can you tell me how I would get and extra set of screws and a bracket and how much they cost for the 590 model? Thanks so much !
I have it. but second-hand an that foam is at end of life. is it possible to buy new foam in it? thanks
Where can I purchase extra spool holder brackets (the screw part that goes into the back of the sewing machine?) You mention extras can be purchases but I don’t see them on Bernina of Naperville site.
Call the store tomorrow when we are open 331-472-4231
What do you do with the threads after you use one color and go to next? Do you have to wind it back on spool every time since there isn’t a place to keep it. I guess you could keep 4 up at a time?
Once I use a color I wind it back. But you can do whatever tickles your fancy
How do you use that with the straight wound threads? I noticed one on your multi spool holder, though you did not show how to use it. Aren’t they supposed to spin and have the thread come off to the side?
I personally put the stacked wound thread on it the same way. Didn’t think I needed to demonstrate that. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you for the tutorial! What sewing table do you have?
I filmed this in my home sewing room. My cutting table is an Eversewn Loft, and my sewing cabinet is a 25 year old Koala cabinet which belongs in kindling as it is terrible shape.
Will this work on the new 990? I am selling my 730 and wondering if I should include it.
@@susie4248 this works on the B 990 as long as you have the bracket and screws. That can be purchased separately if you do not have them.
I have a Bernina Auroua 440 Quilters edition so does it fit this one, I do not see the holes in back
I did not watch whole video to the end before I sent message sorry
Will this work on a 535? Thank you :)
Yes. Like I state in the video, it works on the 4. 5 and 7 series machines if you use the two little screws with the white plastic washers. Then attach the bracket. All pieces are included in the box.
Is the 590 able to use it
Like I said in the video specifically, yes this fits on the 4, 5 and 7 series machines. you need to use the bracket and screws like I do n the 4 Series and 7 series.
Does this fit on a Bernette 79
I can get one on it, but it is not ideal
Thanks for this! I came here today to watch this video because I just got the Spool Holder! I appreciate all your tutorials! Karen @kfitzy5
Will it fit on a 790 PRO
Yes. The 790 PRO is the exact same frame as a 7 series. So you will use the 2 screws with the white washers and the white mounting bracket.
