Please do a comparison with the Chanel. I've been using the Channel Water Fresh Tint since 2018 and love it. But now that I'm retired its price is prohibitive. If you think the Cover Girl can closely dupe it, I will trust you on it.
Not Amanda- but I too have been using Chanel and still love it BUT I tried the CG foundation shade O10 - and find it fabulous and worth the $50 savings from Chanel 😊
Jane Iredale has a nice product like this one as well. Like it better than the drugstore and cheaper than Chanel.

I have the Chanel, CG and the rose inc. That is also super similar. I love them all. I feel like the covergirl has a little more coverage and looks really nice on! I’m 41 with dry skin for reference

Love love love your in-depth reviews and we have such similar preferences which makes you so fun to watch 😊 I noticed you like to reintroduce yourself and topics/preferences often which I’m sure is super helpful to new subscribers, but to someone who is a regular it tends to make the vid feel like I don’t get to learn more about you or giggle together as much as we could. While I really do appreciate your trying drugstore and affordable products, I think that in the future using a drugstore primer is a better idea.
Prepping with a mid-high-end primer skews the effect of the other products, especially the foundation and concealer.
Well,If You really liked the Ilia serum then please try the Madagascar Skin 1004 Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule the ingredients are more effective and it will do much more for your skin and it costs less! Love your videos ❤

Such a great exploration of new products. Testing them after you’ve had a bout of illness is a great challenge. I’m glad you’re feeling better. The Ilia essence is really appealing to me. It looks like it’s going to work really well during the dry, cold winter months.

I just got the covergirl essence foundation and I really love it. I appreciate your take having a different skin type. I’m actually oily acne prone and I found it beautifully natural on my skin. I prefer light coverage though so it checked my boxes. I’d love to see an official review from you.

I had that same reaction to the Ilia base face milk: "What is in this?!" I was having a major eczema flare, and none of my usual stuff was helping. The Ilia milk healed it within a few applications.

Hey Amanda ❤ I'm in Australia and for some reason somehow I picked up the Elf Bb cream and was very impressed it also smells like sunscreen but it is thicker with imolience which I like for my dry skin but I haven't heard many speak about the BB cream I think it may be a similar product the CC cream just different world releases xo 😊

I don't usually like ELF face products, I find them really heavy and makeup looking, now that I'm getting older not a look I'm going for, I really didn't like their OG Camo cream foundation, this looks very similar by this demonstration and try on. It looks too done , cakey for my liking. Whereas I do love their Halo Glow. I do love Miliani Cheek Kiss, will have to try this bronzer.
Have you tried the Laneige Cream Skin at all? That's the closest product to the glazing milks that are popular now that I think I've tried and I wonder how they compare 🤔

Estee Lauder used to have a really similar eyeshadow formula I think to what I’m seeing here. It was just totally one with the skin, no texture whatsoever and even coverage but didn’t seem like makeup at all. It was when they sold duos, I don’t know if their quads are as luxurious

I got the Covergirl essence and I love it but I’m so sad cause I got the lightest shade and it’s too light for me. That NEVER happens with these types of products. So for anyone super fair, let’s be real I mean ghostly PALE is recommend it.
I got it I’m on vacation and now I’m back at home and we don’t have Covergirl here, so I guess I’ll have to wait until I go this summer to get a darker shade to mix in 🥺

Amanda, I so enjoy your reviews and you have a lovely presence on camera. I really, really, wish that all reviewers would please consider where cosmetics are made and concentrate their attention on products that are made in this country. I started this request with you because you are one of the few cosmetic "influencers" that I watch and like. I went for a year trying not to buy anything made in China. Good luck! Even many super high end designer clothing labels are made there. Aren"t we the people who went West in covered wagons and now we can"t even sew on a button or make a lipstick. I'd really like to give our own economy a boost. Before I buy something to make me look "pretty" I"d like to know where it"s made. If not here, I'd rather do without! Thanks!!!
