He started in indie band, debuted as solo and released 2 mini albums. Then formed this band in 2014 with the name, JJY Band. They released their debut album in 2015. Then they changed their name to Drug Restaurant last month before released their 2nd album.
He originally debuted as a solo artist but after about a year he formed the JJY Band (now known as Drug Restaurant). They have a previous album already so if you like this then you should check that out :). JJY did gain his popularity through variety shows but he's said in interviews that his heart belongs to music and will always be a singer in his eyes despite being on entertainment programs :). He has a few solo albums and has recently released a couple of solo songs called Sympathy which he composed himself and another called Amy. Hope this helps :)
I have mixed feelings about this. The song is great. Everyone is super talented, it's just a shame JJY had to throw it away. Hopefully the other members continue making music.

As others have said, they were called the Jung Joonyoung Band, if you like this song then you should listen to their other songs like OMG, One Last Girl, Holiday, Lizard etc (from their first album)! Their other new songs Sexy Bomb, What?! are great too! You should definitely check them out :)
Oh and just in case you didnt already know, JJY (the singer), has a few solo albums already! If you havent done so already the id highly recommend to listen his new solo songs Sympathy and Amy, he did a duet with Jonghyun from SHINee about a year ago, called Aewol which is great! Just ordered the album within 2 hours of stumbling along this MV, finding out about the existence of drug restaurant and JJY himself. And I know shit about korean songs and shows other than one kpop group I follow. That was how amazing this MV was. Looking forward to more releases from this band!
Welcome ! If you haven't already listened to it, I really advice you to listen to their first album Escape to Hangover that was really gold (and also had more songs than this one). A year after, I still listen to some of these songs. The vocalist JJY has solo stuff that I also personally really like but doesn't have exactly the same vibe so it can depend on taste.

Ive been waiting so long for their comeback and I am not disappointed at all! Im addicted to this song and the rest of DR's new album! JJY's voice is just flawless! I love that this album was written and composed by them, they've worked hard on this and it seems to have paid off! Its a shame they wont be doing any showcases to promote but im sure they'll do well with promoting through festivals! :)

So I am confusion- Drug Restaurant really is one of my favorite groups now. The energy they have performing live.... This song especially. My favorite is when Joon Young was yelling at Seok Won and Dae Min because they were both going to visit their cousins in New York....then Joon Young dedicated "Fiance" to Dae Min's cousin in the audience. As the song started to play, Dae Min quietly said "Ahhh...she's married" Overall, they are really funny and charismatic people. I believe that they will continue to do well and be energetic during their live performances. I love you, Drug Restaurant.

+bic oh lol I didn't know, I just knew Jung joon Young from some tv stuff, I thought he was an individual singer since his album and in the previous music videos just show him - so I assumed he joined this band or something (correct me if I am wrong tho please because I'm not sure x)
He started in indie band, debuted as solo and released 2 mini albums. Then formed this band in 2014 with the name, JJY Band. They released their debut album in 2015. Then they changed their name to Drug Restaurant last month before released their 2nd album.
He originally debuted as a solo artist but after about a year he formed the JJY Band (now known as Drug Restaurant). They have a previous album already so if you like this then you should check that out :). JJY did gain his popularity through variety shows but he's said in interviews that his heart belongs to music and will always be a singer in his eyes despite being on entertainment programs :). He has a few solo albums and has recently released a couple of solo songs called Sympathy which he composed himself and another called Amy. Hope this helps :)

As others have said, they were called the Jung Joonyoung Band, if you like this song then you should listen to their other songs like OMG, One Last Girl, Holiday, Lizard etc (from their first album)! Their other new songs Sexy Bomb, What?! are great too! You should definitely check them out :)
Oh and just in case you didnt already know, JJY (the singer), has a few solo albums already! If you havent done so already the id highly recommend to listen his new solo songs Sympathy and Amy, he did a duet with Jonghyun from SHINee about a year ago, called Aewol which is great! Welcome ! If you haven't already listened to it, I really advice you to listen to their first album Escape to Hangover that was really gold (and also had more songs than this one). A year after, I still listen to some of these songs. The vocalist JJY has solo stuff that I also personally really like but doesn't have exactly the same vibe so it can depend on taste.

i feel so sad how, because of JJY, everyone is hating on ALL of Drug Restaurant. Everyone only cared for JJy in this band, while Hyunggyu, Deamin and seokwon sincerely cared for the fans. I went to one of their concerts and the other three members really made the show, were so sweet and caring towards the fans. Yall can put in on JJY but don't say Drug Restaurant is trash.

Ive been waiting so long for their comeback and I am not disappointed at all! Im addicted to this song and the rest of DR's new album! JJY's voice is just flawless! I love that this album was written and composed by them, they've worked hard on this and it seems to have paid off! Its a shame they wont be doing any showcases to promote but im sure they'll do well with promoting through festivals! :)

Drug Restaurant really is one of my favorite groups now. The energy they have performing live.... This song especially. My favorite is when Joon Young was yelling at Seok Won and Dae Min because they were both going to visit their cousins in New York....then Joon Young dedicated "Fiance" to Dae Min's cousin in the audience. As the song started to play, Dae Min quietly said "Ahhh...she's married"
Overall, they are really funny and charismatic people. I believe that they will continue to do well and be energetic during their live performances.
