Japan is generally more into the rock scene, whereas Korea is all about hip-hop it seems, so most bands have "harder" songs for their Japanese comebacks. This song is by far one of my favourite FTIsland song in general, regardless of language, and I just _really fucking wish it would be on iTunes or spotify or _*_somewhere_*

lol when you think of their past... as they was new and people called them "Rock band" I saw many people dissagree to this and now you can't really dissagree anymore... FTIsland now sounds like if they ar the only rockband from Korea, because all other bands I know are allready disbandet or to popish (like for example Royal Pirates are really good, but not that much rock as I prefer rock-music)
There are other Korean rock bands. They just aren't mainstream because rock was never all that popular in Korea. It did enjoy more popularity in the 90s. Eve, for instance, is a rock band that FT looks up to. They have been active for 20 years. It's just that FT kinda ushered in the era of bands in the mainstream amongst Kpop. They (and others who followed after them) have the benefit of being more known because of the Korean wave, and starting out as a pop band.
I'm a big fan of TRAX for similar reasons but they were always catered for a niche audience and ended up changing their sound a lot after min woo and jung woo left
actually s. korea has a lot of awesome rock bands. but unf. just lik FTISLAND they dont get much media attention since they dont do the kind of music that is popular thre so be careful when u say that "they ar the only rockband from Korea" ... but i do need to agree that from the bands who are 'idol-lke' ( and by this i mean, handsome young guyus) like FT, CN, RP and DAY6, FT is the only one who is actually really doing rock'n'roll

Japan is generally more into the rock scene, whereas Korea is all about hip-hop it seems, so most bands have "harder" songs for their Japanese comebacks. This song is by far one of my favourite FTIsland song in general, regardless of language, and I just _really fucking wish it would be on iTunes or spotify or _*_somewhere_*

lol when you think of their past... as they was new and people called them "Rock band" I saw many people dissagree to this and now you can't really dissagree anymore... FTIsland now sounds like if they ar the only rockband from Korea, because all other bands I know are allready disbandet or to popish (like for example Royal Pirates are really good, but not that much rock as I prefer rock-music)
There are other Korean rock bands. They just aren't mainstream because rock was never all that popular in Korea. It did enjoy more popularity in the 90s. Eve, for instance, is a rock band that FT looks up to. They have been active for 20 years. It's just that FT kinda ushered in the era of bands in the mainstream amongst Kpop. They (and others who followed after them) have the benefit of being more known because of the Korean wave, and starting out as a pop band.
I'm a big fan of TRAX for similar reasons but they were always catered for a niche audience and ended up changing their sound a lot after min woo and jung woo left
actually s. korea has a lot of awesome rock bands. but unf. just lik FTISLAND they dont get much media attention since they dont do the kind of music that is popular thre so be careful when u say that "they ar the only rockband from Korea" ... but i do need to agree that from the bands who are 'idol-lke' ( and by this i mean, handsome young guyus) like FT, CN, RP and DAY6, FT is the only one who is actually really doing rock'n'roll

Yes! Shadows is absolutely their best song! It's such a damn shame though that when most people request for reactors to check them out, it's always the same 3 Korean songs (Pray, Take Me Now, Wind) which shows they don't know anything about them and only know those 3 songs because they happened upon them on 1theK. Shadows is FTIsland's best song ever!

That's not an issue. All they have to do is interrupt the song either in the editing or pause the video every now and then to make a comment. I know this because I requested that several people react to this very song, Shadows, and that's how the video got uploaded: Either they interrupted the video in editing or they paused it every now and then when watching it.

It has nothing to do with Japan. They are signed to Warner Bros. in Japan (Warner Music Japan) and Warners seems to have a problem with that. Actual Japanese companies like Pony Canyon don't bother people with copyright blocks if they react to their videos.
