I just don't see how simple plaque smashing in the SFA will yield a superior outcome to DA (or Laser). Why not get the plaque OUT of the SFA? I understand there is not a lot of great data but the risk of DA in experienced hands is minimal and there is so much plaque. Just Chocolate and DCB is, respectfully, not my choice. "The goal is just to heel the wound" is not a lofty goal at all. This is not just "Oh well, we can always bring him back." That's nonsense. Get the best result possible. Agree w/ several panelists.
