If you ask me, FF xiii had a lovely story (IMO) and I loved it's gameplay but I fell in love with the gameplay of FF xiii-2. Fragments, new dlc bosses, monster customization and builds, chocobo races, alternate endings, free roaming, easy way to make gil, and galestrike (Weird but I always wanted an air-powered strike since I saw the strike spells in XIII haha). Just amazing!
Nice strategy, but this does take a while. Whenever I've fought raspatil, I used saboteurs and Lightning LV1 as the commando, Sazh LV45 for a synergist and Goblin Cheiftain LV40 for a sentinel for my paradigm pack monsters as lightning is quite powerful commando, sazh provides offensive buffs and goblin cheiftain's feral link restores wound damage as I thought these paradigm pack allies to make the battle much easier and quicker. I also used relentless assault, cerberus, tortoise, combat clinic, superiority and ruthless as my paradigms because I felt this was quite effective.
If Final Fantasy 13 was remade, it would be on one disk. FF13 includes all of the pre-rendered scenes, taking up at least an entire disk worth of space. Then there is the matter of encoding, which was updated after 13 (more specifically for Halo Reach) to increase disk space and since a lot of data was repeated (disk 1-3 all shared data) that knocks off another disk. Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy 13-2 are about the same size, in terms of data.
Yes, story is vital when it comes to JRPGs, FF titles especially. If they can combine the lessons learnt from XIII-2 with the well-paced storytelling of the earlier games, Final Fantasy might truly come back to form.
For a good commando i would recommend getting the golden chocobo, of which the crystal is located in an alcove in the upper half of the dead sands in A Dying world 700AF. It is in a treasure cube and has amazing base stats. It is also the best chocobo for the chocobo races and a good was to earn them serendipity credits.

Finished this game at 100% with everything on the xbox. I found this monster by surprise. It wasn't hard for me though, beat it on the first try, it just too a little while, got 5 stars on it too. Odin, Lightning and Flanitor are pretty good.
there are certain weapons that will fill it up like 50% or more faster if you have them equipped. That might be what he is doing. But yeah, I feel like just the plain ATB gauge fills up faster than the one from plain old XIII.
1: Yiazmat is only harder because he has so much HP and you can only hit 9,999, a few specific moves aside. It's meant to be a long, drawn-out battle. Worst case scenario, I stick with com/rav/com after staggering to avoid launching the enemy... Chichu is over 2/3 of my damage output so I'm not going to complain about the flaws he has.
These darn dark matter orb things always make me jump when they appear. I think it's because of the screen going funny when they appear. I think I should go to some random place to level up since I'm in Oerba 400AF I think it is. I never know when this monster will decide to show up.
I'm referring to the way raspatil looks, he's not an actual reference, i only said that because he's so horrifying to look at that he could easily pass for a silent hill boss.
@BoyzNAcne It's something to use your power on with high levels. That's hardly a waste. Gives you something to focus on. if you like that sort of thing.
I'm curious. Why not use either of Noel or Serah's special attacks? As soon as I got them they were used in every battle. Mind you, I failed miserably at any attempting any special boss fights. (I just never got that deep into it. Could change with FFXV.)
Jarrod King they can only be used once a battle and it resets any chain gauge and ends stagger so it can only be used at the end of stagger. It doesn't even do that much damage anyway, regular abilities on a full ATN gauge are pretty good on a 999% stagger.
@Underournorthernstar I tried to kill Amodar first but the problem with Amodar is he constantly cast auto heal once his HP reaches 6 mil. Once he cast that along with lightning constantly getting in the way it takes way too much time to kill them. I left Amodar for last because its easier to gang him and break him faster Rav, rav, com and then 3 commandos.
