@@flashtheshapeshafter Even greater on my book as well. And I think it's brilliant that they're starting out with Baxter Stockman as the main antagonist, considering the other mutants we're having

I really hope Baxter and SuperFly are a Jeckle and Hyde type characters. It would be really cool to see him go from a mild/crazy scientist but becoming a wild intimidating fly mutant.
I’d really love to see the Punk Frogs get their own show. They said a few villains would get their own shows, and I’m assuming Genghis will start out as a villain, so maybe this is a possibility. Also they could cast Eric Andre to voice one of the frogs. That would be cool.
One of my favorite things about TMNT is all the crazy Mutant side characters, so to see SO MANY packed into a single movie makes it feel like this was MADE for me. Especially excited to see film debuts for a couple of my favorites (Namely Leatherhead and Wingnut) as well as Ray Fillet finally getting a REAL animated appearance. (That isn't some expy character created after his co-creators rejected his use as a generic villain.) REALLY hope this film does well enough to warrant a sequel with my man SLASH!

On Splinter being a human-turned-rat, it does make more sense to me since it's a better explanation for how he knows how to kick mad butt. Him knowing his moves only by watching his owner or such seems... flawed... And yes, I've seen the one where he read it all from a book. No comment there.
If we could get Triceratons in a movie, either as a single character but ideally as a whole alien faction like in 2003, I would consider naming my child Nickelodeon.
I'd love to see Usagi Yojimbo (the samurai rabbit) in the movies. He was always my favorite outside of the turtles. This cast looks wild and interesting... can't wait!!
Problem is that he is part of his own franchise so it would be extra rights to get. All the times he showed up with the turtles were part of cross over events.
One TMNT villain that I would love to see on the big screen is Agent Bishop, he's probably not going to be in this movie but maybe in a future one, I know he asked for mutant characters but I just can't help but wonder what they would do with agent Bishop on the big screen.
Technically not a mutant and also not officially part of the franchise, but he’s crossed over with them so many times that I’d love to see Usagi Yojimbo show up in a sequel. Also Old Hobb from the IDW comics needs to be given a chance to break out of the comics.
I can imagine that if the Shredder does appear, he's wither going to be silent throughout most of the film like The Prowler from Into the Spiderverse, or that when he does speak he's being voiced by either a major actor whom they haven't announced yet or by some random voice over artist.
I watched the 80s TMNT reruns in the very early 2000s as a kid, and grew up on each subsequent series from there. I will admit that I'm not familiar with most of these characters, but my love for the franchise is still tremendous. I'm excited to see what happens.
Confession time: I'd like to see a resurgence of Venus but handled in a much better way. Kinda similar to how they did Karai in the 2012 series where Venus could be a long-lost sister that works for Shredder. In true Oroku Saki fashion, he'd lie and say Hamato and the boys didn't want her. Give her a chance for redemption arc too.
Same thoughts. I've actually pondered before, way way long before, about having Venus being morphed into a clone by Baxter Stockman and Shredder, having all four turtles abilities. That could really do work. Talking about female turtles, any possible chance on introducing Jennika down the line or not yet?

I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for years since I was a 8 in the 80s. Been watching the cartoons, the 1980s, the 2003 and the 2012 versions. I’m a hero in a half shell person. The trailer is sick (really awesome) to see the Turtles back in action. Looking forward to see the movie this year. TURTLE POWER RETURNS, BABY! 🎉
Since they're using "Utrom" in Cynthia's name, I wonder if she might actually be one of the good-guys in the movie. Since the utroms have been depicted as allies to the turtles while Krang is the main evil one (2003 version not withstanding on the latter part).
@@manuelalbertoromero9528 Well, at least in the 2012 show, the Kraang started out as the peaceful utrom race until one evil utrom, named Kraang, mutated into Kraang Prime and used his new psychic powers to assimilate most utroms into enslaved copies of himself while a few good utroms remained. I haven’t read the IDW comics, but I think that version of Krang is a member of the utrom race. There was also an utrom in the 2003 cartoon who cameoed and was called Krang, but it was really more like a nod to the 80’s cartoon.

Not really a big TMNT fan but I love whenever you get the chance to talk about TMNT because your love for it is just so infectious.
I’m so excited to this movie🔥🔥 & Napoleon Bonafrog is who I would add and he can be voiced by Jon Heder again😆🔥 but …
Hiroyuki Sanada (from “Scorpion” Mortal Kombat & Rush Hour 3) should voice Shredder in the next one
Dude! My algorithm has been hiding you from me. I'm subscribed to you! 😂 😭
Miyamoto Usagi will always be my choice for "character I want to see in a tmnt project"
If Paramount ever makes a live action Ninja Turtles series or movie, I would like to see Giancarlo Eposito to play Baxter Stockman in live action. He would absolutely be perfect in that roll!
TMNT: Mutant Mayhem Cast Added:
-Ken Jeong is voicing Casey Jones
-Jack Black is voicing Krang
-Benedict Cumberbatch is voicing Shredder
