Nice job sir ! Those plate girders are sometimes harder to assemble than they look. I'd say that 80% of modelers can't get to a result like yours. And most of the time, it's just because they don't even read the instructions sheets. Even worst, they want the kit to be assembled before they get started. So they mess up ! Figuring out how to do things right takes sometimes longer than the job itself. Congrats. This was done properly.
@@SPSteve Thanks for answering. You're one of those modelers I would like to work with. It takes long to mature in the hobby. I got my first Bachmann kit back in Xmas 1974. Nearly 50 years later, I'm finally doing things the way I want them. Still, I got so much to learn...
Very nice. I'm building this same bridge, and found the visuals very helpful. I was wondering, though, if the bridge would be wide enough to accommodate sectional track with the roadbed molded to the bottom, or if I would have to configure a way to attach rails to the top of the bridge and connect those with the sectional track.
thanks. The bridge is 1.56" wide where the track lays on the bridge. Hopefully you can use that measurement to determine if the bridge will do what you're looking for.
@@SPSteve You're quite welcome :). The track I'll use is about 1.5 inches wide from one side of the roadbed to the other, so I think that should work. If not, I'll go with the second option mentioned above.
Looks fantastic, I need build three of these
Thanks! They're pretty good kits and the detail is good.

thanks! The bridge turned out nicely. I agree, reading the instructions is a good first step.

It was and i always underestimate the thickness of the decking when planning overpasses.
Where's part 2?
No part 2 for a while. I'm looking at moving next year so the model railroad is on hold.
