So it really was decent of Lars to suggest 1986 Peace Sells was a Dave should be proud moment. Reign is second to Puppets that year though. 3rd is still good. Everyone loved peace Sells. pity someone was stuck in the past. It's been over since the 90s , get over it like the 80s fans who you still think ever even cared. Metallica won with no competition.

Since then the footage I’ve seen of him he looks much happier. His wife was for sure the ball and chain. I’m not saying she’s awful. I’m thinking she’s a narcissist and made the marriage be more complicated than it should’ve been.l She always got funny and jealous when James did meet and greets.
Was no doubt thinking James would be won over by a female fan..ah that’s what I call paranoid and silly. He had a wife! He loved her. He appreciated her for saving him. He said that lots of times. He respected her. Did she respect him? I know my view but that’s not important. He deserves to be happy. His a great man.

I was a teenager and didn’t know any English, and I used to play Enter Sandman over and over at nights when I was scared of falling sleep and having nightmares. Years later when I learned English and understood the words of the song, it gave me such a strange feeling that how did I get relief from a song that was intended to make you feel better against nightmares, without even understanding a word out of it!

While i appreciate, Mr. James Hetfield, that you and Lars and Kirk and the guys had a more somnambulistic meaning to the song, it really reminded me of a sci-fi book series by Fred Saberhagen called: "Berserker!"
A high tech interstellar war story in which a 5-way intercolonial war between human star colonies was interrupted by the arrival of the gigantlc and lnvincible machines from outside the galaxy called "berserkers"
The hardcore guitar solo of Lars seems to perfectly describe the energetic beam weapons screaming out across the brutally cold vacuum of space to slam into the hulls of enemy vessels as the unflinching alien machines unleashed devasation on the human coloniesn with their exotic energy weapons. It's a perfect fit

The riff is memorable. The guitar solo is really well done. I played it to myself without wah-wah and it is incredibly well composed. In Kirk’s closet there are wah-wahs. Having them stolen is his nightmare!

After being at the concert this weekend, I understand why Enter Sandman is not at the top of a lot of Metallica fans lists…and maybe the band is sick of playing it… but judging by the crowds reaction as well as Metallicas energy while playing it, you would never know it. It was by far the most lit song of the two night concert. And that’s saying a lot, because the whole show was absolutely amazing. It brought from me from being an above average Metallica fan to a full blown Stan. Enter Sandman was absolutely incredible and arguably the best 5-10 minutes of my life. The mushrooms definitely played a part in that.
