I love seeing a cast that grew up on a non-toxic, healthy, fun, fair, non-Dan Schneider set. He was really the common denominator to the shows that had drama and trauma.
@SLV Right, I wish they covered two episodes of the show per podcast. I like hearing about their lives as well, but the show stuff is very interesting!

Daniel was so funny in this. Didn't have the at length story time moments like Devon or Lindsey, but his little quips are so well timed. "It's better if you say it" in particular killed me
2 scenes I always loved are when Ned and Cookie enter the detention classroom. The first is when Cookie tries being tough but then squeals saying, "The wind came and woo-oof, plane fly", and the second is when Ned stalls Sweeney from leaving the classroom by asking what science is which goes on for some time
The way their extended conversations about irresponsible activity leading to arrests and trouble with the law actually ties into the episode and the final tip which was "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time."
STORY BELOW So glad to hear your guys mutiny story. Growing up there was a substitute elementary teacher who was so unfair and outright mean to us kids. One day we conspired with a kid who possessed the ability to throw up on command sit right in front of the teacher while she was reading something and puke all over her shoes. We didn’t see her again for over a year. Lesson is sometimes mutiny is a good thing
I had a sub that we got fired too. She was super mean and we were in like 1st or 2nd grade, she threatened no to let us go to lunch so we all went and told the office and some kids were calling home from the nurses office and i feel like she was pulled out of the classroom but she may have just not come back for the rest of the week our teacher was out. 😅
Man it's crazy to think about how lucky Devon and Lindsey were with their experiences. So glad you are all safe and hopefully making many better decisions now after those experiences!
I dont even drive yet but thank you for the life lessons LMAO I love how Daniel is like: yeah, ya'll crazy, I wouldn't have been here to survive any of those stories if they happened to me LOL
I appreciate you guys speaking on DUIs because they are absolutely a real thing. I myself am 4 years post Dui since the 15th of this month where i had totaled my car, (only had for 6 months) Fractured my spine, was Bedridden for 7 months, & had to learn to walk without assistance. Complete hell I went through but what a blessing it was to change my trajectory of my life. I avoided surgery, being paralyzed, & death all within the same motion. 2 weeks post accident, i find out that my gf was 2 months pregnant & when life hits you, really comes full force. Love that this episode starts with Lindsey being like “I was never in detention, I was a teacher’s pet”, and then it comes out that not only did she regularly get kicked out of class for arguing with the teacher, she’s also since committed and gotten away with multiple crimes 😂 (I genuinely love how open you all are, and how you strike that balance between not condoning bad or dangerous choices, while also being non-judgmental of the individual overall - it can be hard to know how to support your friends while also being honest with them, and the way you all communicate would genuinely be a good example for an adult survival guide) (Not to mention Daniel’s master class in how to simultaneously be there for your friends and understand their human mistakes, while also recognizing that when you zoom out, this is 100% Some White Bullshit)
My girlfriend and I started rewatching Ned’s Declassified because of this podcast so we can keep track of the references. This podcast is so funny and chill, keep it up guys ❤️
49:54 Thier convictions is listed on thier wikipedia IMBU page anyway. I remember reading about this stuff last year. I was looking at each of them as I wondered what they have been up to and it totally shocked me to find out that Ned ended up in trouble with the law, bad timing with his parents divorce and anything else. Nice, that they are open and honest about it.
The prelude to Cookie Confidence! Its good to hear it from those that we kinda grew up with. Nobody is perfect. Getting into trouble is inevitable, but if you can avoid doing something stupid then do it. You might get lucky, or one action can change yours or someone else's life in an instant.
Same I feel like this podcast has given them the opportunity to really become closer as active friends rather than old friends who just keep in touch, at this point them getting back together feels very possible. If they end up together, they better invite Scott Fellows and the person who cast them to the wedding lol.
However it shakes out, I hope it's in both (all, if we're including Daniel) of their highest good. Important to bear in mind though: there's such a thing as amicable exes, and leaving things in the dust where you find them. Moving on and staying platonic is also a beautiful way to exist.
i desperately need y'all to discuss the music from the episodes! i was watching on netflix and most of the music has been replaced with generic copyright free audio instead of the original songs but the subtitles expose them haha the first episode i noticed was in lockers when susie opens her locker and according to the lyrics daniel beddingfield's 'gotta get through this' plays. this episode had can't deny it by fabolous when cookie is walking into the lunch room. the show itself is already incredibly nostalgic but hearing these songs that accidentally soundtracked my childhood is so awesome! look forward to the new episode every week
After hearing about him in this episode, if he wants to it would be so fun if your tutor Scott came on the pod, I bet it would evoke loads of memories!
Seeing them all reminisce on the past and just be friends as adults is so amazing to watch! Nickelodeon really messed up passing on this reboot and I hope one day they come to their senses.
Based on how they describe Scott working with the kids and how comfortable they felt and fun they had, I wish he worked on more Nick shows instead of you-know-who.
I love how Daniel is sitting there looking at them both in disbelief and outwardly laughing, but I just know he’s thinking that he's a Black man who would have never gotten away with what they both did and the fact that he didn't say it... they weren’t lucky. They were palm colored.
Devon's DUI story is so real man. I feel like we were all young and dumb and made similar decisions. I thankfully I never got into an accident nor pulled over but looking back I realized man I got so lucky doing that is so so stupid and dangerous. So yea especially now in 2023 just Uber man it's not worth it
There's an episode of Big Time Rush where the band is getting "homeschooled" by teachers that Gustavo hired, and in that episode they didn't want to study with those teachers, they wanted to study at the palmwoods school, so they all got in together to hatch a plan and get those teachers fired. Then in the end Gustavo, is the one teaching them. So maybe Scott Fellows had that episode idea because of what Devon, Daniel, and Lindsey did with their actual teachers.
Gotta say. Of this entire recent boom of old show podcasts, you guys might just have the best one. All three main characters, insanely funny, and great stories all around.

Love you guys ♥️
While we're swapping embarrassing run-ins with the law stories, I'll share mine: In my early 20s, I was going through a tough bout of mental health issues, poverty, and unemployment. So I started shoplifting small things from Walmart. My method was simple: I'd stuff Walmart grocery bags I'd already had in my pocket, walk into the store, grab what I needed, then go to an unoccupied area of the store out of sight from people or cameras, and put things in these bags, then walk out the door pretending that I had just checked out. One day, I got a little too cocky with this and made the mistake of making guilty-looking eye contact with one of the managers as I walked in. I thought nothing of it, so I did my usual thing and tried to walk out. But then this group of managers stopped me and actually brought me to their office to interrogate me. Apparently, they had been building a case against me. And they had already called the cops, and one responded. I was so terrified. The one cop came in and handcuffed me and everything (ngl, that part was kinda hot). But I started crying profusely. Mind you, I was not the criminal type. I was an autistic little goody-two-shoes as a kid and I just happened to be down on my luck. I had never been in any trouble of any kind, and I knew for a fact that I would not survive in jail. But I think the cop took pity on me, then asked the managers if they really wanted to press charges on such a low-level case of theft. I think they pitied me as well, so they told the cop no. So he uncuffed me, and escorted me off the property and I drove home while literally having a panic attack. Needless to say, I never shoplifted again. And luckily, shortly after that, I got my shit together. I found a job, got back on my feet, and I finally got a diagnosis for Austism Spectrum Disorder (formerly known as Asperger's). And now, I'm good. I never told anyone about this in my real life because it was so embarrassing. Though, the getting handcuffed part was cool, not gonna lie. 😂 I'm just glad that I chose Walmart to shoplift from and not Target. Pro tip for shoplifters: Well, first of all, DON'T. But if you do, do not shoplift from Target! Their Loss Prevention does not fuck around. I've literally seen videos of them tackling shoplifters to the ground and handcuffing them.
I gotta say… I’ve been really enjoying this podcast series. It feels like catching up with old friends from high school. Not in a creepy para-social way though haha… Keep up the good work guys!

I look forward to seeing what comes from this, hopefully they branch out
Y’all didn’t help me in school -but while in school I knew this show was helping so many others.. So hype to see the fresh expansion 👏🙌
I wish y'all all the success 💯 Neds was such a big part of me and my sibling's childhoods. Always put it on after school 🤣
I am grateful for another episode. Thank you, guys.
This podcast is truly my favorite. Between all the Ned's bts stuff to life conversations. The chemistry between all three of you is amazing. And the honesty from your stories is so important. Thank you for sharing all of it.
Finding and watching this podcast has been like running into old friends from school and still being cool with each other
I really hope y’all do every episode of ned’s because i’m patiently waiting on that field trip episode
This podcast is just unlike every other one I listen to in the best way. It's just so funny and real and somehow so relatable 😂😂
This and Christie’s podcast (Ren from Even Stevens) are actual gifts to humanity
I remember as a kid i didnt have cable Neds was on a mexican channel i thought it was such a great show! Years later i see it in netflix… now i for sure know it is a great show!
Well let's not forget, do not drink and drive because you can kill someone! Not just "jail sucks"
