- The human selfie game has been around for a LONG time! In this video, I dive into 6 famous self-portraits from art history and make them relatable to today's selfies.
You may be familiar with these famous self-portraits from art history. Or, you might tend to pass by all the self-portrait paintings at museums. But you'll want to watch the entire video to see how these artist's have a lot of the same motives in their self-portraits as we do with our selfies today. It may change the way you view these paintings from centuries ago and make them more relatable. The famous self-portraits covered in this video are by Sofonisba Anguissola, Caravaggio, Judith Leyster, Rembrandt, Vigee Le Brun, and Gustave Courbet.
