If Michael Cohen went to prison for this then it's insane anyone would think Trump was innocent.
Trump is not innocent at all.
All this anxiety about Michael Cohen - I actually think Cohen is going to be fine on the stand, because he actually went to jail for his ex-boss, and every lie he ever told was for his ex-boss.
And what he went to prison for was trivial. He lied to Congress about the number of times he lied for Trump, more or less.
You just don't know all the facts like most other liberals that think their lawyers.

Legal pundits have estimated that this trial will take about six weeks Katy. There must be lots of hard evidence and witness testimonies to fill six weeks of court activity.
Not the way it works. Half of the time will be the prosecution presenting their case. The other half belongs to the defense. They're already in the second week and only 3 people have been called to the witness stand

Mr Charlton is right, unfortunately. In my years of uni teaching before I retired in 2012, profs were told to try to teach in 15 min segments because students didn’t have the attention span for a 50 min lecture. Sad really.

18 U.S. Code § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
That has to be proven and he has to be charged with that and so far what I've seen neither is going to happen. They charged one January 6th rioter with sedition. No one's been charged with insurrection. And I'm pretty sure they committed more of a crime than Trump did. So that being said I wouldn't think that that legal statute that you're pointing out would even have an effect.
But hey I understand it's not something you really want to think about. I mean isn't that why you're in the cheering section to put him in jail. Because you think that will be the end of it. Guess again.😂
And remember you've got states who tried to remove him from the ballot for the exact thing you're talking about and guess what He's still on the ballot because he has not been convicted of either crime .
