Hi, 👋, I built a pair of transmission line now speaker cabinets about 40 years ago, and last year, I fitted 4 new sets of your speakers 🔊 , cannot remember the serial number at the moment, 8” subwoofer, and a pair of tweeters, i’ve purchased these from Soundimports from the Netherlands, I found this company very helpful, And very impressed with the sound quality, My cabinets are quite big, they stand about nearly 1-40 Mt in height, Approximately 14 foot line length, and they sound more amazing than what they had did before, Phil from the moulin France
I Own a pair of Linkwitz Orion's , using the Seas Excell 7" Mg and Excell Tweeter , both those are excellent speaker drive units !! Love the crispness and clarity !!
SEAS speaker components are in the top two or three brands of speaker components for sound quality and consistency. The engineers and the human operators care about what they are doing, and they know what type of results they are trying to achieve.
I own a pair of Scanspeak .15 L speakers which are basically Dynaco A35's on steroids. They have Seas/Scanspeak drivers. The Dynaco's or other speakers of that period always benefitted by using SEAS drivers. Then Mission used their tweeters in the Mission 770 which was one of the next level quality value speakers. I know since I worked at a stereo shop in Ontario that was the first to sell Mission products. You can spend less and get great quality which is what companies like SEAS facilitate. SEAS could produce very highend drivers used in speakers that cost 10's of thousands of dollars, but they don't. Hats off to SEAS.
I had at one time: Seas Lotus car audio loudspeaker components, never had to chance to install them as I had to sell all of my car audio stuff at that time as I had alot of car repairs, was going to build a complete SQ sound system, never came into fruition, Seas Was my dream system.
I had SEAS tweeters in my home speakers back in the day. Man, this music sounds excellent on my $10 logitech computer speakers, I'm shocked! Missing the bass, lower midrange, but otherwise, wow!
Hi thank you very much for this excellent video I wanted to ask what kind of test can give the most useful information to establish the sound of a cone driver They tell me that the cone material makes the sound But how to measure it? There must be a system Thank you very much and best regards gino
Mr. Why you love Seas? Seas woofers made absolutely stupid people! All own history Seas made extremely low Qms drivers and used very little magnet system, cheapest basket.. Seas think 🤔 only about maximal profit, only about money 💵! Because made marketers, no engineers!
Looking at the production methods of this mob, they don't seem too different from a Chinese speaker assembly plant I watched previously. Speakers are a mechanical device and the super important method of centering the voice coil appears to be the same in both cases. Basic materials used will be similar, glues the same, and provided that jigs and fixtures are accurate then I would expect a similar result from either. In other words the Chinese could easily emulate any of the famous brands, but don't have the cred. My Fostex speakers are now made in China, but I expect them to sound the same as a previous pair of Japanese Fostex I used to own...
there are a lot of work in engineering and realisation of this engineering... all work after, is also important... i wish seas would be cheaper, but all these workers must have good salary, because its Norway and these people do a good work on their places... and you can not just emulate this... its not a software... there is serious scientific work on the background... you only can steal their tehnologies...
A friend of mine 'does' limited series Hi-End custom of drivers in China. You can get make top quality, but one has to be ready to pay for it, and it is hard to find manufacturing house that is able to build what you want, if it's something different than the norm. The Seas is just like other manufacturers.
The way speakers are made doesn't seem to vary much regardless of country of manufacture, which is why the stigma of Chinese-made speakers is largely unjustified in my view....
SEAS speakers are truly brilliant. Keep up the great work, I have so enjoyed your products for decades.
Yeah they are really fine driver's. Love them too.
Message to the workers: I hope you take pride in the fact that your work brings so much happiness to hundreds of thousands of people. Well done!!
Well said. I hope they see your message.

I love Seas. I wish their low frequency transducers had higher mechanical Q tho.

For good woofer need extremely high Qms 20-25, and extremely low Qts 0.1.
Rei-ntroduce the Argon speakers! If the Dane’s can make the bespoken large midtone, i don’t see why SEAS can’t reintroduce it again.
World class.
