what i love the most about josh’s playing and solos is that he is so immaculate and clear. his articulation and musical ideas/phrasing are just fantastic, and seemingly limitless!

There are so many awesome musicians that play at the Baked Potato. I travel to California about once a year and I go to the Baked Potato every time because I can either catch incredible musicians that I have looked up to for years or I can catch incredible musicians that I had no knowledge of. I have pretty good exposure to a lot of players but I always seem to find someone new that blows me away. So for this trip......we are exploring Josh Smith. Thank you for posting this because it made up my mind for me over other people that I have seen before to explore and now I am really looking forward to seeing him in late March. Blessings to everyone! Seek and ye shall find. I'm glad I found this and glad that I am willing to take a chance to explore new music and new musicians (to me a least). I am a seeker of God, of love and awesome music. I have no doubt I will be blown away by this show.

@@dominikscheid8268.. looks like the fender player series guitar but it only has 21 frets so I'm not sure. There is the new fender elite series with a push tone control in that burst color that are awesome, even available with a shawbucker pickup for unlimited tones.
