Wow! The otherworldly genius of Eric Gales, the technical mastery of Josh Smith and the beautiful subtlety and taste of Matt and Kirk. All on one stage. The perfect Blues jam.
Haven't heard much of Fletcher before but I love his clean no nonsense style. Perfect blues guitarist. Gales on the other hand - - - ??????? What a showman!
Smokin' hot, just as it was intended! We have the best music in the world, right here in the USA. Let's all get in the groove and encourage the world. Quit fighting, let's dance, sing and jam. Share the groove of love!!! Gettin' my Fender P/J Bass out right now. I can't get enough of this stuff!
Man well said:) music is just beautiful.. and these amazing musicians playing just brighten my day! no one steppin on eachother.. nothing.. just amazing
Español Inglés I love this new generation of guitarists, particularly it is something that I cannot stop listening to, they are really fantastic, after this pandemic they would have to do a tour of Argentina ... geniuses out
He was using Matt Schofield's guitar and the strap was in the wrong place since he's a left handed player and Matt's is a right handed guiatr so he wasn't using the strap and just sat and played.
I am sure these are all GREAT guitar players, but I don't enjoy it when all these flashy jazz runs are put in the solo's. I enjoy simple blues in the vain of the late great Mr B.B King.
@31:50 he works up to an E-minor variant. Does anyone know which chords he plays? He slides up, so I assume it's the same chord before he hits that E-minor.
All those great licks but the equally great vocals seem to disappear... In my book, and I may be alone here, the vocals should be number 1 Thanx Natasha and cheers
it did start when atists feelt free to EVOLVE music. Imagine a lot of people whould have commented in a even worse way just right before your favorite style of bluesmusic was created for the first time. Your favorite stile of blues simply wouldn't EXIST. So my point of view is: you are always free to PERSONAL comment on anything. But NEVER judge in a general way like you did in your above comment. Enjoy your favorite blues maybe it makes you more satisfied to let co-exist other musicstyles.
Sorry Josh and Kirk, but in my humble opinion, Eric is WAY BETTER player -with all my respect for you- and I'm not saying that you´re not good, it´s just that you can see and feel the passion that Eric has. Just saying. Peace and good work Eric, Keep on playing man, and may God be with you.
Absolutely stellar rhythm section.
Eric Gales is from another universe.

Eric Gales never fails to amaze me...sliding classic music into little wing in a so smooth and smart way. Only this guy can do that.
josh Smith is just a monster!!!

When I’m sad she comes to me and says take anything you want from it’s alright with a thousands smiles she gets to be free
eric johnson was such a big influence on alot of guitarist with his unique playing and you can hear it in eric gales playing.
That lil wing solo by eric gales is one of the best solos ever, wonder why he wasnt standing up
He was using Matt Schofield's guitar and the strap was in the wrong place since he's a left handed player and Matt's is a right handed guiatr so he wasn't using the strap and just sat and played.
oh ok, thanks
Kirks first solo was 🔥🔥🔥
37:00 ooooh sweet baby james, hold on now!
It was amazing to watch the bass player's face as he's moving along on the fly!
A dime a dozen
That is some tasty stuff!!!
Riding with the wind
Great video but how I wish Matt was turned up more during his solos! :(
I am sure these are all GREAT guitar players, but I don't enjoy it when all these flashy jazz runs are put in the solo's. I enjoy simple blues in the vain of the late great Mr B.B King.
What is Josh's guitar effect at 22:28?
Octavia / octaver
Josh Smith is the guy that would have been playing with Miles Davis.
Awesome video!! The only one missing is Greg Koch.
@31:50 he works up to an E-minor variant. Does anyone know which chords he plays? He slides up, so I assume it's the same chord before he hits that E-minor.
Eric Gales just made Matt"s 60's strat what ever year it is worth like another 10,000$$$$$.... Kirk still my fave but...
Anyone know if Matt is related to John Schofiield?
Josh and Kirk have very fine style... JD so-so
Nick Campbell on bass slays all before him.

think sayce would embarrass these guys haha
@@alisterjunior1652 true but gales is another animal in terms of style
Great gig! Would have deserved a better sound quality maybe tho
All those great licks but the equally great vocals seem to disappear...
In my book, and I may be alone here, the vocals should be number 1
Thanx Natasha and cheers
It was an impromptu gig at a tiny bar that didn't have a proper sound system so unfortunately the mix is not good.
When did blues become boogie woogie?
Little Wing is boogie woogie ? OK???
boogie woogie is a type of blues

The bass player should concentrate on playing instead of being weird as.

One guitar too many for me.
Why do so many blues players have trouble trading 4 bar phrases? I don't get it as talented as all of these guys are...
FUUUUUUCK THE LICKS ARE TOO TASTY
Too many guitars. Their all great but there's just too many.
Boring
so you simply have chosen the wrong video to watch. What's you musicstile you find holy-shit-freakin-exciting?
