Just the previous summer thereabouts, Mary Hart had completed two aerobics workout videos recorded and distributed on VHS. DVD disks were still in the future. Mary Hart was almost 38 when she performed on those workout videos. She's just 38 in this Arsenio Hall interview. Look how young and beautiful Mary looks. Mary Hart still sports the "Farrah Fawcett' blown hair style that Fawcett introduced in the mid-70s which remained popular through the 80s. There is a photo of Mary Hart sporting her natural straight hair and she looks good with it. Women's straight hair styles, once popular in the 60s, made a big comeback in the 90s and has remained that way since. For one, it's convenient, easy to manage, and less expensive to keep.
My God. I had forgotten how incredibly, ridiculously HOT Mary Hart used to be! Her legs were insured by Lloyd's of London, for like, 2 million? Loved how the show's producers always kept a "leg light" under her desk, to show them off!
Hard to believe Mary Hart is 71 years old today. Remember Mary Hart in her glory leg days back in the early-to-late 80s on television? She was reputedly a spokeswoman for Sheer Energy Hanes Pantyhose. Yet Hart is not in any pantyhose commercial, print or television. Hart's leg swansong were her two, aerobics VHS videos in early 1989.
She must have practiced hard in her early career to speak so pointedly and correctly. That's how women in movies talked in the 1930's to 1960's. A very crisp, well-enunciated way of speaking.
Its called white, 1st world, sophisticated speech. The browner the world gets, the dirtier and worse society gets. You think we are progressing but we are regressing as a society
I never thought anyone could exceed much less match the glamour of Mary Hart's perfect legs. Yet go on-line and look at the legs of the late Indian actress, Persis Khambatta, who gained international fame as the beautiful alien humanoid on the 1979 movie, STAR TREK, named Illa. She wears a short, white tunic the whole time and shows off her absolutely perfect and perfectly toned legs. I would even submit an opinion that her legs exceeded that of Mary Hart. Persis had the advantage of being slightly taller at 5' 7.5" to Hart's 5' 6". Both women had amazing physiques but Persis was more athletic and firm. Persis passed away at the untimely age of 49 in her homeland, India from a massive coronary. She may have had a congenital heart defect that surfaced in middle age and carried her off too soon. To be fair, a few past Hollywood and British actresses showed glamorous legs. Who remembers, American professional dancer/actress, Cyd Charisse and her perfect, toned dancing legs, standing 5' 7" tall? Female dancers and ice skaters seem to always have terrific legs. Who was that late, South African, short blonde hair, blue-eyed dancer/actress who made her fame and fortune starting in the UK then in the USA doing a few shows, professional dancing, commercials and pantyhose ads? She was noted for her great legs.
I used to have a crush on Mary Hart in the 80's. I would watch Entertainment Tonight every night at 7:30 just to watch her. She should have had her face insured.
WrestleMania III brought me here. She was hot and sweet. It's funny her legs came up cuz I was looking when she came out and thought "damn." Then when she sat it was even better. My first time seeing them.
Here's a golden opportunity to see more of the 'real' personality of Mary Hart compared to her upbeat, wide-eyed, perkiness of ET. Hart's close friends purportedly had told news media that Mary Hart had a real-life, normal personality that was very different than her ET show persona. This Arsenio interview proves them right. I much prefer this normal Mary Hart personality than the ET one which was just a tad exaggerated.
Hard to think that Mary Hart is 71 years old today. Remember Mary Hart in her leg glory days back in the early-to-late 1980s? Reputedly Hart was a spokeswoman for Legs Pantyhose. But she is not seen in any pantyhose print or television commercial. Hart's leg glory swansong were her two aerobics VHS videos in early 1989. Sadly, Mary Hart refused to do pinup glamour photos that would have showed her beautiful legs. Hart wanted to uphold her squeaky-clean, All-American Woman image. I wonder if she has any regrets today. A beautiful, leggy woman is just that only once in her life before old age takes it all away.
She was gorgeous. I love her wild 80’s hair and fabulous legs.
Yep! Those were the golden times!!!!!!!
Can we get 80's hair back in fashion please? I miss being a lion.
These are the legs I grew up loving....Mary Hart & Leeza Gibbons ruled the leg game.
Sure did! Such beauty!!!

Truly legendary legs.
She is so beautiful!!!!!! I wouldn't give up the 80's for nothing!!!

Yeah, in her prime (like when this interview 1st aired) , she most def. was on a short list of the hottest women on the planet.

pretty lady. gosh i want to dress like her!
I’ll never forgive Mary for not making a photography book of her legs.
There is barely any good pics of them anywhere
I came here from Family Guy. 😁 She's awesome. Very sweet.😊👍💯
Classic looks ! Her husband is lucky.
Merry heart I love you❤
I'd like to use the croft of her pantyhose as my nose mask
Burt bought her legs
Pantyhosed legs will prevail!
You know I watched this show as a kid and I never realized how SLEAZY Arsenio gets with the female guests
However sleazy it might be, I personally don't think it would be considered it that much different from a few other talk show hosts of that day.
Did you people know I had a night club act? Yikes
Mary hart’s voice stresses me out
Why?
Evalynne Torres idk
The Skweezy there’s something called Mary hart Syndrome where people supposedly suffered seizures from her voice so there ya go
SpiritGoose I don’t have seizures but her voice just makes me nervous
@@spiritgoose7406 thats on an episode of seinfeild 🤣
