Love the hockey content add! Your teammates typically only jump in if it's a dirty hit or a star got hit, otherwise it's just part of the game. Playing hockey growing up, we're told to get up no matter what so if a guy stays down he's really hurt or knocked out. Guys will get up just to wobble to the bench while not knowing where they are lol

played hockey for 15yrs. had to walk from a scholarship to college in usa due to neck & back injury. don’t regret 1 minute of playing 💙
Same but I didn't walk away from the scholarship it got pulled. I tore both of my ACLs in 2 seasons. Still have issues with them to this day 10 years later but like you I don't regret a single second of being on the ice. Nothing beats that feeling when you take a shot and watch it go in the net.

I've played alot of football. Hockey players are by far the toughest. You can skate way faster in a short area than you can sprint. Hockey players think football players are minor leaguers compared to them
The training is much more intense as well.

You never want to hear your teammates yell HEADS UP cause it means your about to get hit by a truck. Grew up playing this game in Canada. One of the best hits I ever seen as a kid was Larry Robinson on Garry Dornhoefer they actually broke the boards. BTW fighting on skates is not easy.

The game is MUCH faster and the ice is MUCH smaller than it looks like on TV. It looks like they have time to see those coming but it's all just semi-controlled chaos.

Interesting thanks 🙏but hard to see hits on the screen and helps if they replay the hits a few times instead of just once. There are some memorable hits like Scott Stevens concussion hit on Eric Lindros etc.. that ended careers that would be interesting to react to. also there has been near death heart attacks and the most brutal is an old one the Clint Malarchuk skate cut to his jugular is unbelievably freaky blood everywhere but he lived. (old hockey legend, hardest hitter ever in the game) / tom wilson biggest career hits (one of the hardest guys today in nhl)!! when stevens played there was no penalty for hitting in the head or hitting from blind side etc. so that guy would be banned from the league in 2 seasons if he played today.

Gordie Howe ( Mr Hockey, to the World, even Bart Simpson revered him) played professional hockey from 1946-1980 (seriously) Mr Howe was 6 foot tall and 205 lbs (30 years ago) ( look up his reputation) and Alexander Ovechkin still playing and working to be the # 1 scorer in NHL history. Ovechkin is 6 3" , 238 lbs . Personally I would never mess with a football player, but Hockey players are pretty tuff but more polite lol
