not the fastest car but it sounds good

I have this car and I cant recommend it. Its a paradox.
Uncomfortable like a sports car but slow af. It does neither luxury or performance. Its more of a poser car. Looks the part but rides harsh accelerates slow, under braked with the small brakes, and overall disapointing.
Get the 580 if you want comfort or grt 63s but dont get the 53 even with 24 refresh its slow and overpriced junk.
"Slow af"... "accelerates slow"... perhaps there is something seriously wrong with yours, or you should've gotten the 63?

Underwhelming results. Was expecting better from a car with almost 460hp. A diesel X3 M40d with 320hp has similar, if not better results. Of course, it's a smaller/lower class SUV and probably 150-200kg lighter, but still...
Agreed. Extremely disappointing results. The carwow drag race is the same with this car. An X3 M40d is much quicker (carwow did the QM IN 12.8s with the X4 M40d). Heck, the regular 260hp X3 30d is pretty close to this (5.5s 0-100 and 13.9s QM done by PDriveTV)
That’s a very conservative 450hp 🥴
X3 competitor is GLC not GLE which is bigger and heavier.
@@Eugen-E Yep I know that. Just saying that a 260hp DIESEL weighing 200kg less is not far off the performance here.
@@Eugen-E Yes, i said that too. If you want a more fair comparison, the (approximately) direct competitor from BMW is the X6 40i, which manages around 5.5 - 5.7s to 100 and sub 14s 1/4 mile with only 335hp. So yeah, this GLE is surely a fast car, but with 460hp it should have been (a lot) faster. You can't have just marginally better results than your competitors which are 120hp down on power.

Yes X3 might be faster but how ugly are bmw vs mercedes. Not same league
Some new vehicle designs are really hard to stomach!!
