I am so impressed with the MAC eyeshadow palette. 😊 I haven’t really gotten into MAC eyeshadows for a long time but this palette is so pretty. And the blush looks beautiful. I’m actually really interested in the peach one, too. I need to see a swatch somewhere😂.

Wow, both Laura Mercier and Mac products look amazing! I haven’t looked much further than Laura Mercier’s loose powder in many years but this concealer looks amazing!!! I don’t even know if I have ever used a MAC eyeshadow ever but this looks fantastic on you and the packaging is gorgeous. I suspect they will be big hits for the brands. I am all filled up with concealer and eye shadow at the moment but I’m glad these were not fails.

That Laura Mercier concealer is way, WAY too thin for my liking! Because like you, I have real dark circles to cover!! I just ordered the new one from Tarte off QVC! Have you seen that one yet, Rebecca? I'm hoping that one isn't a failure like their skin tint they launched last year. But it's supposed to be full coverage, which I really need!

Thanks for reviewing Mac. They have always been consistent in their color and longevity. I need to get back to using it. I have tried so many new eyeshadows that I was influenced to buy and have been disappointed. That color blush looks great on you.

The Gucci concealer: i learned to love it, peachy colour added, and than layering, making a sort lasagne, but than ready, no powder needed, which is a plus!

That is the deeper reddish tone. I love those. That’s why I wanted this one. I’ll prob go look and see. I may end up with both lol you know me!
Those are my fave shades of blush, I'm ghostly white and I still use and love them - this one is very intriguing. I am not using eye makeup much, but that shade of blush with a similar lip really brightens up my pale skin with a lovely warmth. Love the entire look on you and your hair is gorgeous today too. I finally caved and got the Chanel Sublimage concealer and I'm pretty sure it will last me the rest of my life lol, and the B10 is the PERFECT shade for me, like it was custom made. It's still not perfect for settling into lines but that patchiness I was getting with all the others I tried is greatly reduced, best one I've tried so I'm going to stop the research.

Haydee! The peach blush does look gorgeous. This concealer, if you have any darkness under your eyes, does need a color corrector underneath. On its own it is absolutely lovely but it’s not a lot of coverage

From SCOTLAND??? YAY! Did you see my highland cow in the background. I'm married to a proud Scot from the borders. The LM concealer does indeed build but it never really covers darkness. Redness, yes, but not dark, sadly. Not well anyway but better than nothing and GREAT over a color corrector.
The Mac packaging is beautiful 😍 I love the Laura Mericier foundation but not sure the concealer is for me, at the minute I'm still loving my ND concealer, Haus Labs and Huda Beauty. I normally will try 2 new concealers and 2 new foundations in a year, so I'm not buying just yet.

I'm a dragon ;-) born in 1976 (please, don't do the math). Although the dragon/love themes are tempting but I don't feel the urge to get this.I'm not into MAC those days and the Netherlands always gets less shades, stock and all those things to even consider a limit edition. When I check, it is always run out. And I'm still mad that MAC changed the browmicropencils and my shade (Accentuated) get lost.

Those are all fairly medium coverage and medium fuel, Gucci is the lightest in texture but also medium coverage. This is much lighter in both coverage and texture. But it blends absolutely beautifully. This is almost a thicker version of the Valentino
Good morning, Rebecca! This is a cute collection from Mac. Though, if I’m going to buy anything from Mac, I wait till they discount their collections significantly. For me, their prices are too high for what they’re giving. These days, we can get that quality and better packaging for less from other brands. Their blush packaging feels so cheap, especially for $30 something. Unfortunately, for Mac, we’re not in the early 2000’s, where they were all the cool rave, playing their loud music in the department store. Lol I used to work at Hecht’s and would walk by their area often to hit up the Estée Lauder counter. 😂 Oh, btw, did you purchase a Beautylish lucky bag this year? I bought a regular one. It’s my first! Keeping my fingers crossed that I get products that I love!🤞😂

Interesting you like this quality and find it easy to work with. I decluttered the two I bought in the tins from last year (the larger tin and smaller one). I found that quality awful.
The Mac in color one you mean? I’m getting the name wrong but you know what I’m talking about. I kind of like the thick creaminess. But it’s a little bit like Sydney Grace. I can see if you didn’t like Sydney Grace not liking this one, if that makes any sense.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I found the MAC in Color palettes to be very powdery, not creamy at all. I LOVE Sydney Grace and didn’t find the MAC formula comparable at all. I did try a few of their other recent six pan collabs and did like the formula on those. I’d have to go look at which ones they are, but there are a few that are really good. I’m passing on this one though!
A few have told me they find the shades unflattering in the pan. I can see that. I think they're creamy. I wonder if using expired Dior has messed with my head. haha. Or I wonder if your palette was off. Am now gonna compare to SG...new SG coming very soon btw!@@rabbiroz3806

We must be from the same barnyard! You’re a pig and I’m an ox! 😂 I’m impressed with the new MAC palette and blush. MAC really needs to keep stepping up their game. They’ve sort of stepped by the wayside. I used to love their lipsticks and still love their gigablack mascara for my lower lashes. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a black tubing mascara with a skinny brush. It never flakes or smudges. I hate to think of how many tubes I’ve gone through!❤

So money saved for me. have you tried the Huda colour corrector? best I've found so far. Natasha Denona said the purple/blue pits of despair need a peach based concealer (alongside colour corrector) and brown pits of despair need a rosy undertone concealer
Natasha is very correct. I was hoping the warmth and the peach of the shade that I tried with this would cover up the dark pits of despair but it’s simply such thin light medium coverage that didn’t quite do it. But over a color corrector really works. I do love the tart color corrector the most. Try it if you run out of the huda. Meanwhile, I will go box up some sunshine and send it to you

Interesting you like this quality and find it easy to work with. I decluttered the two I bought in the tins from last year (the larger tin and smaller one). I found that quality awful.
The Mac in color one you mean? I’m getting the name wrong but you know what I’m talking about. I kind of like the thick creaminess. But it’s a little bit like Sydney Grace. I can see if you didn’t like Sydney Grace not liking this one, if that makes any sense.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I found the MAC in Color palettes to be very powdery, not creamy at all. I LOVE Sydney Grace and didn’t find the MAC formula comparable at all. I did try a few of their other recent six pan collabs and did like the formula on those. I’d have to go look at which ones they are, but there are a few that are really good. I’m passing on this one though!
A few have told me they find the shades unflattering in the pan. I can see that. I think they're creamy. I wonder if using expired Dior has messed with my head. haha. Or I wonder if your palette was off. Am now gonna compare to SG...new SG coming very soon btw!@@rabbiroz3806
Thank you for your reviews. I don’t think this concealer will work on me. My despair pits are desperate! I’m needing a thicker product. And a corrector/ brightener. But I so much like the MAC products you demonstrated. Plus they did beautiful Lunar New Year’s cases❤❤🐉🐲
Those MAC products really ARE so pretty but the concealer, yes, VERY lightweight.
We must be from the same barnyard! You’re a pig and I’m an ox! 😂 I’m impressed with the new MAC palette and blush. MAC really needs to keep stepping up their game. They’ve sort of stepped by the wayside. I used to love their lipsticks and still love their gigablack mascara for my lower lashes. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a black tubing mascara with a skinny brush. It never flakes or smudges. I hate to think of how many tubes I’ve gone through!❤

I was v interested in LM Concealer, because of love her Flawless Lumiere Foundation.

I wish i was in the warm California sunshine *sighs in British* The Laura Mercier concealer looks to be light coverage. No good for my dark pits of despair. So money saved for me. have you tried the Huda colour corrector? best I've found so far. Natasha Denona said the purple/blue pits of despair need a peach based concealer (alongside colour corrector) and brown pits of despair need a rosy undertone concealer
Natasha is very correct. I was hoping the warmth and the peach of the shade that I tried with this would cover up the dark pits of despair but it’s simply such thin light medium coverage that didn’t quite do it. But over a color corrector really works. I do love the tart color corrector the most. Try it if you run out of the huda. Meanwhile, I will go box up some sunshine and send it to you
