In the band I was in the drummer learned on drum from playing rock band, granted he couldn't play this type of stuff but it gave him a head start and he bought a drum set of his own and started practicing everyday. I wouldn't be quick to judge those who play drums on rock band as those morons who think that since they can play the guitar and bass on rock band, that the can play guitar and bass
Traductus5972 Agreed. I'll say it's definitely still a whole different thing playing real drums but it's good to learn basics and to just know you can play rhythm somehow. It definitely fills the gap a lot more than from playing guitar hero to actual guitar. Good training wheels
Um, about converting this to rba, I've heard there's a BPM ceiling of about 200, I'm not sure about that it's what I heard. This is the highest BPM I've ever set, fluctuating up and down by ~200 bpm, maxing at 400 to catch some of the beats. I probably could have halved it, but, well I never thought it would be as frenetic, and I never thought people would want it in RB.

Traductus5972 Yeah mate. I played Rock Band drums for about a year+ and have played real drums for about a year now and it was a huge head- start.
