After spending an extra night on site to ensure I was fully recovered from the night before.
Today was to be a day of miles. We sadly had very limited time to spend on Lewis and we wanted to visit lots of sites before our time was up.
A visit to check out a whale bone arch, a Blackhouse Museum, The Port of Ness, the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse and a beach with a possible site for the night.

It certainly was. Taylor made for our Buddy and yes, what a bonus. Would have been a totally different experience if a coach party had turned up. 🙂🐕🚙

We were so lucky on the blackhoue. A real sense of the past.
We needed a bit more time at the Lighthouse to be honest, but we were on a tight time scale. ( All to be revealed in a couple more episodes).
That park up ranks only second to our stop on the road up to the Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse on a previous trip. Stunning wee spot!🙂🐕🚙

On the subject of beds, I upset my daughter on her planned wedding night! when she said their room had a four poster bed! I asked her if they had a mouse problem? as the four poster bed with canopy was to stop mice following on them as they slept!! Great for romance 🤣 The rocks made me think of tree rings! thanks for sharing look forward to the next one.
😆 yes we can imagine how popular that comment was! Bet mice were an issue in those box beds. 🙂🐕🚙
Loving your videos. Do you have a toilet in your Van, if not what do you do if you need a wee in the middle of the night?
Thank you. We're pleased you're enjoying them. We do have a loo of sorts ( check out the video "Everybody Poops" in the Tips playlust. It explains how we work things). We fo both have pee pots. However, we are both fortunate enough not to need a wee during the night... well, not yet anyway! 😉 🐕🚙
