Mysterious bird noises and not forgetting seeing our first white tailed Eagle. We set off south towards Harris.
A very quick stop in a deserted Tarbert, a coffee from a roadside caravan and finally making it to a world famous beach, Luskentyre.
Later, parking up at Harris Community Camp Spot. £5 per night on an honestly system and what a spot!

Thank you. Still pretty nervous flying. He's really good at that sulk. Got the "am I bothered" look down to a fine art and if that fails...it's look into my 👀 🫣🐕🚙
We have just eaten a beef stew ridge monkey pie..wow wow 1st pie I have cooked without a soggy bottom..thank you so much...

We certainly are and what a spot! Just the right size for our Buddy.
Can't beet a bit of stag Chilli Ridgemonkey Pie and it's very tasty cold too.

Fantastic drone shots at that beach, poor old blue with no ball to chase. That was a great park up and very reasonable at a fiver.
Thank you. We did feel bad for Blue, but, like us, he forgets how old his body's getting and it was beach after beach! It was an amazing stopover, just the right size for our Buddy and got even better the next morning 🙂🐕🚙
Not giving Blue any cheese, aww, that’s the best sulk I’ve seen in a while, bless him. That pie looked scrumptious.
He does get some, but not this time. Honestly, at home, he can hear a cheese packet from out in the garden! 🙂🐕🚙

Thanks for coming along with us. Blue loves getting away on our trips. It's not always easy with a dog, especially when it's raining stair rods and blowing a hoolie, but it always works out. 🙂🐕🚙
Very nice and relaxing trip. You were lucky to find that one place that was open, at least for coffee and cake. Some beautiful scenery when the sun was shining too, and what wonderful sand on that beach .

West Harris Trust works very hard trying to keep their bit of the island in good shape. Tal Na Mara restaurant is worth a visit, there you can see houses they built for local people to rent. There is a new project in the pipeline.
They're doing a great job. Let's hope people don't take advantage 🙂🐕🚙

Morning. Thank you for coming along and your kind comment. As for heating. If we're off grid then... No. If on site in winter then we have electric hook up and use a small oil filled radiator sat between the two front seats. We have just purchased an Ecoflow River 2pro, which would give us a few, frequent, shirt blasts of our small plug fan heater. Trust us... It's pretty cold sometimes, but we just wrap up warm and if in doubt, put the kettle on. Soon warms up! 😊🐕🚙

great video been watching a while now , just wondering do you have to revert your camper back into car mode when the MOT is due ie put the seats and the seatbelts back ?
