If you are having trouble creating a 2nd model, You have to press and hold cancel to actually get the radio to switch to the 2nd model and then you can bind to new model. Same goes for switching to 2nd model once bound, select the model you want to fly then hold cancel to activate that model memory!
Thank you. Got my i6 today. Just updated my i6 firmware and got 10 channels, and was playing with receivers. I found it would only remember 1 receiver at a time till you showed us this... Puzzle solved. Wish the manual was better thou... Cheers
The Eachine and Turnigy are rebranded Flysky FS-i6 transmitters. My FS-i6 doesn't require me to hold the two trim buttons to get into the menu. If the display goes "dark", no back lighting, press the Ok button to activate the screen. Then press and hold the Ok button for about a second and it goes into the menu. Have you tried that? :) When the back light goes out, it essentially goes into a sleep mode. Except when it is bound and controlling the quad. But it's nice having one controller for multiple aircraft isn't it? :) One of the idiosyncrasies of these radios is on some menu items you have to hold the Cancel button to save. Not very intuitive, but that's how it works on mine. I would bet most of the FS-i6 functions are the same on the Eachine and Turnigy radios.

That is weird indeed. I suppose you're right that they want their own protocols and proprietary functions. Don't know why they just can't leave well enough alone. LOL Been a crap weekend for flying. Haven't been in the air for almost 3 weeks now. Next few days maybe will be more suitable.

I have the same scenario as you presented in your video, one exception my ARF racer 250 didn't come with the receiver adapter, my question is, and I'm a bit nervous of messing up my RTF quad settings doing this, is when the binding of Eachine 2 takes place are the settings the same for #2 the same as #1 or is it necessary to configure the radio to #2.
Off topic question, but is there a place to find extra eachine frame parts. I have been gluing mine to repair it buts its gotten pretty bad. Just wondering.

Hi Jean, thanks for the comment but that will not work on this model, "Eachine i6" makes no difference when you press the menu button, the only access is as I show with the trim switches. Maybe you have and i6 but a different model/manufacturer, cheers

Where to buy this eachine i6 transmitter??? The link given below is not for eachine i6, the given is only for fsi6, that I already have,. been watching your binding videos all night ,,just got myslef an "rtf" zmr250 and i think ive unbinded it when i was messing around one night i can arm it through cleanflight but no response from my transmitter when i try arm it that way ...hopefullly a rebind will sort the problem :)

have you tried removing the binding plug to see if its binded?. On mine,when the transmitter keeps showing "rx binding" (and nothing else happens) is because it is already binded. So, turn of the transmitter, remove the binding plug and switch on the transmitter. You should see the battery level of the rx on the tx display
So if battery level of the rx displayes on the tx does that mean they are binded.I'm getting no responce other than battery display between the arris c250 and the fly sky fs i6.
I cannot select different models on mine. When I'm over model 2, and the remotes on model one and I hit ok, it does nothing. It will not connect to the second model.... is my faulty?

thats odd... my eachine ia6 opens the system menu bit without the trim button thing?, something else i forgot to mention before you delve into librepilot, you can rotate the FC board so that the usb port is facing the side, for ease of access, also, before you use anything on librepilot, when you open it ignore the wizrad set up and just go straight inside to see how it is set up now, i believ you can save a copy of your settigs straight away before you start changing anything, i would advise you not to change anything if you don't need to, its most likely tuned the same way your rtf one is, i also had an issue with failsafe on the tx, it was set to fly away, it was hard to find in menus and vague even after i sorted it, do the tx switch off test just so you know its gonna land if you lose signal, please take a note of settings if they are already preprogrammed, i am interested to know what the rattitude settings are, the section that offers a slider for attitude/rate/deg persec... the slider says normal snappy insane... i have mine set to 450 for rate and 450 for deg/sec i would be interested to know what the stock settings are for the 250 racer.... ps.... if it has no pre-installed stuff.... copy them from your rtf model and paste them into new one.

theres a micro ppm receiver available now, thanks to Thierry from rcgroups, his design is now available with failsafe and better protocols etc. from banggood, just search dasmikro flysky micro receiver, theres also a youtube for anybody who bought the early version without failsafe.. flite brothers youtubers

Have you seen this video I did on binding ruclips.net/video/l2_DhBTf8VY/видео.html if you connect it as I show in video it works every-time, like connecting any electronics, but some people must have connected it incorrectly and fried the board. Hope that is what you are after?

I never needed to set mine up just flew it as it came, don't touch it if it ain't broke is my motto. thought there was videos out there for setup, I have just never needed too. Hope you get it sorted
you don't need to do that to get into the menu, your just pressing the buttons in the wrong way! pressing and holding the menu button when the back lights are out will do nothing, just press any button to bring the lights up then press and hold menu and you will get into the menu system, what your doing with the trim buttons is doing nothing at all!

Hi Robert sorry to hear that but it just can't be, how can it work for me live on video and loads of others but then fries 2 units, I have done this several times and no problem, double check what you are doing and maybe film it to check you do it the same. Hope you get it sorted, it does work, I'm flying proof to it ;-)

you can hack the flysky i6 with 6 channels to make it 10 channels, so i reckon you could hack the eachine too
Yeah mine too...but then again mine is the regular flysky i6...guess eachine has some of their own software incorporated into this one..

I brought new receiver I bind it and the led in the receiver is not flashing anymore but I don't have any signal in my quadcopter, need some help?

It’s weird that you have to hold down the trim switches when you plug on. I just hold down the OK button for a few seconds to access that menu

if that transmitter is not using the flysky protocol then no, it will not work but if it is then it will work fine.
