We have a 500 coach on a 9 year contract who’s paid better than harbaugh who just got a big raise this year. We have the easiest schedule a team could hope for this year and with the pac 12 teams and our schedule next year it’s going to be a lot worse. And then of course the “! Rebuild” after Rhule. I’m a Husker fan win or lose but I’m not delusional about it. Mike Riley was a more proven hc with a better record. We had 4th and inches and instead of a sneak under center. We decide to do a shotgun sneak. As the coaches thought the qb running 8 yards in shotgun is easier than getting a few inches which is very hard to stop.

@@jacquesbreaux4108 Nebraska had that kind of class under Devaney & Osborne---when the game was won, they'd usually put in 2nd, 3rd, 4th string players. I'd like to add U. of Oregon to the "no-class" list for their score this year against Portland State: 81-7. Total lack of class but here it's all about Phil Knight and his big money & more buildings with his name on them. I cheer when they lose. Again, respect to Michigan, good team, good values.

I think the team needs a fresh start. So for the players that might be lacking in their skill-set and I'll even throw an assistant coach or coaches in there, some fine tuning of next seasons depth chart and staff needs to be had. Also the offense needs to find a true identity and they have been limited with finding that identity right now due to the fact that they don't have quarterbacks at the helm that fit into their plan.

Also don't care about your TEs recruit rankings. Loveland is still a better TE right now. There are maybe 2-3 TE better than Loveland in the country
We need to stop directing all of our resources to things/facilities and start investing in people/players/recruiters. I don't want to be overly negative, but these blowouts should never happen at home, ever, I don't care what the roster looks like. Texas favoritism pushed us into the B1G. Suh made five linemen and McCoy his B**ch and they crowned the almighty longhorns anyway. Never been the same since.
Make no mistake....the Big 10 has nothing to do with our downfall, this all can and rightly so lay at the feet of ultra poor administration (Harvey Pearlman and that blabbering idiot Steve Pederhead (Peterson) who was hired by Pearlman to be our A.D. and the day he fired Frank Solich for only winning 9 games placed a curse on us so bad and so huge and those same mistakes got repeated year after year....the admin thought if they throw enough smart guys who think they know best at a sinking ship one would just naturally would rise up and bring us back....Bo Pelini came the closest but the baggage that came with him was just too much for conservative, well mannered Nebraska People.
Now we have a real football staff....who have a proven record of turning programs around. A couple of great recruiting years and some great coaching (maybe a change at a couple of key assistant coaches, co ordinator or 2 and well we've been through this bovine fecal matter before and have learned to be very cautious
They don't care? They've sucked for 20 years and it's still a sellout every week. They dumped boatloads of cash into facilities and coaches. What do you want the fans to do, run on to the field and protest?
hope we can handle illinoise and go 3-3.........that would be something!!!!!!
Nebraska has been nothing since Osborne left.and I don’t think this new coach is the answer
Iowa should NOT be in a 3 man defensive front. Thry need a 4 man front and a 4 -3-4 .
giving up the fewest points in college football and a guy on youtube thinks he knows better?
@stndpenguin Oops. I meant to write Iowa . Iowa should not be in a 3-3 -5. They need a standard 4 man DL. Error corrected.
Michigan IS in a 4 man front btw.
ESPN's headline is all you need to know: "Michigan Bludgeons Nebraska!" This program CANNOT COMPETE IN THE BIG 10 CONFERENCE!
13-31-1
He cannot coach
He cannot inspire
He cannot evaluate talent
He cannot manage a game
I never want to be putting down the Nebraska players they work as hard as I can but we've seen it since Tom Osborne left we can no longer recruit the talent we just don't have the people to match up with the schools that every year are great they have no problem getting the talent and if it's coaching well we know during Frost it was coaching but we just can't get the players other teams have no problem every team in the top 10 and 15 don't have a problem getting players year after year Ohio State Michigan Penn State USC Wisconsin Oregon they are able to recruit key players in key positions that we cannot get it's as simple as that and you're going to have a mediocre Nebraska team until someone is able to change that but I don't think it can happen I know it's 65 it won't happen in my lifetime maybe they should drop to division two where they could match up a little better with the talent we just don't have it even take out the injuries wouldn't make a difference these players on other teams are bigger they're stronger they're well coached we've been getting a new coach we've had six coaches since Osborne that's no way to build a program maybe you win a couple more games maybe three but I don't see a bowl game on the horizon this year I'm not even impressed with this coach it's the same thing we've seen for the last six seven eight years pretty sad😢
No buzz all week because we know our team is horrible. Coaching and all
If you take away the 71 yard run, Nebraska had >100 yards rushing.
How to coach 7 years of bad recruiting.???? Fcs players in B1G play
I mean no disrespect to the young man but I've just seen enough of turner corcharan. It's embarrassing watching him play every week. Please put someone else at left tackle. He can't be the best we have.
Nebraska looked like they had been told You play mistake free first mistake they quit. Haarburg ran the plays he was given the Coach's are limiting him I didn't see him blow any plays ya sure tipped balls but they could have been caught by Huskers just cause a ball is tipped doesn't mean it's the opponents. 4th and 1 Off cording. Mistake should have called an unprideful pass to out side or run outside stupid. To many dumb mistakes special teams Neb. Player behind receiver. Def backs can't stop catch unless your beside or in front of receiver. Never called a design run by H either NEBRASKA HOBBLED BY COACHES
Nebraska should just go the B12, they can't compete in B10
Do you actually think this Nebraska team or the coaches are even in the same league.. Might as well lower your expectations for quite a while. Thx Trev at least your thinking ahead by lowering the stadium attendance.. lol.. A Joke
Nebraska (especially offensively) isn’t talented enough. And Jeff Sims would have made things worse. And let’s face it. Nebraska looked intimated and freighted. Why? Why can’t we just play the game like we have nothing to lose. Always so G Damn uptight. Anyway as usual Nebraska has along way to go. But that’s what happens when someone like Frost leaves the program in a complete mess. 5 years wasted. Well Trev and Coach Rhule better get this thing fixed right. It can be done. Gotta have your head out of your blank to do it. Let see what happens.
Worst home whooping?
Donovan Raiola needs to be fired NOW!
Sam what the heck did you think was gonna happen? Getting all mad and stuff. WE KNEW this was gonna happen. Every one chill. This is year one of a rebuild
We know that Michigan is really good....and Nebraska is really bad.
Embarrassing watching grown men vs. pee-wee league!!!
BLOW OUT!! Next year will be different. GBR!!!
So much for the trash talk Nebraska fans were talking last week to Colorado 😂😂
Colorado is garbage too
its evil angels working against Nebraska. Stupid play calling. Fleeks just as good as any running back from Michigan. Fidone better than Michigans tight ends. Nebraska has talent.
Fleeks just as good as any running back from Michigan? He had one run worth anything and it was against Michigan's 3rd string defense lol. And Fidone is not better than Loveland lmao. This is just delusional.
Dumbest comment ever.....
@@maizeman90fleeks Surely 3rd stringers can play. Fleeks left them in the dust. Fidone was rated 1st in tight ends in recruits in america. He looked good today.
@@spod11 lol he left them in the dust because none of them had angles. Being fast doesn't make a back good. He had a big hole and just ran through it. Was a great run. Doesn't make him as good as any of Michigan's backs. And if Fleeks was any good he probably would have done at least a little something vs the 1st and 2nd string guys. Also don't care about your TEs recruit rankings. Loveland is still a better TE right now. There are maybe 2-3 TE better than Loveland in the country
The curse of Frank Solich. He was an excellent coach and a good guy. He went 9-3 and got canned.
We need to stop directing all of our resources to things/facilities and start investing in people/players/recruiters. I don't want to be overly negative, but these blowouts should never happen at home, ever, I don't care what the roster looks like. I don't know if we can say with any confidence that Matt Rhule is the answer. This was an embarrassing loss that damages recruiting and no great players like the 5* lineman that committed to Texas over us this past week, will ever come here to Nebraska until we start paying up. We need to take that 250 million and put it into paying players.
Mich fan but Neb has an amazing base. A buddy of mine showed a video of girls volleyball...I was stunned. It will get there. Mich wants to forget fast how bad it was for a long, long time too. Stay the course
Develop trenches
The only barometer that I can see is, this is not a good football team they have no shot ever since Colorado beat up on them they haven’t been the same🦬🦬🦬🦬🦬
Anyone else have a strong urge to lick their lips?
Once again Husker fans take it hard and deep in the Ole Hershey Highway! The way they like it. LMAO!
Lmao
Degenerate
Karma for that stunt to get the coaches poll in 1997. Husker fans are lucky JH is a nice guy.
7 million dollars well spent 😂
