Buddy i see that you work a lot run and gun style...but even run and gun the films are very smoth...im looking to get a komodo but im use to work with sony and ibis, and every thing that makes run and gun look like a gimble...could you please just let us some tips about your post production stabilization ?? Someday there will be a video where the person actually show FOOTAGE from the camera they are using.
What would footage have anything to do with a rig build? There’s plenty of KX footage on my channel.
how much footage do you find that 1tb cf card holds? and how much charge time does the nano x battery give you?
All depends on compression settings, frame rates, etc
it still looks weird to me. you have to play "Lego style" to build a rig. It can't be run n gun without compromise.
FS7, FX9 with their hand grips, canon C - you just have to hang those cameras on your shoulder and press the rec button.
To each their own 🤷 worked great for me. I don’t typically run shoulder mounted anyways

Hey Tyler, I bought the same Mid49 audio box (after seeing your video haha), and found that even at lowest audio level it's still relatively sensitive, did u have this issue? My on camera mic is sennheiser 8060, a great one for documentary.
I kinda solve the problem by decreasing the limiter level from -6dBFS to -12dBFS. Maybe cuz I used the 48V phantom power so the signal is too hot.
Can you share a link to the cold shoe tilting adapter?
I’m a little confused on the DD wireless system. Are you able to record internally and also transmit to your camera? I was under the impression that that option wasn’t allowed and only one or the other could be done. Honestly, that’s what keeps me back from purchasing them. Do you recommend them?
You can’t record and transmit in the USA but you can anywhere else. Highly recommend

Anyone else having issues with audio on the Komodo X. I get a high pitched frequency with red audio breakout. Changed it to another brand and it’s now quieter but still present. Help 😢
You’re the second person I’ve heard have this issue. I personally do not have the issue, but I also have a storm trooper model which may not mean anything lol

YO! if youre running the mid49 breakout, is there enough clearance with the outrigger side handle? thinking about getting that mid49 xlr breakout
also, ive had issues with the metabones cine speedbooster with the sigma 24-70 ef
There’s enough room for sure. I just don’t run the outrigger here because it gets too crowded with the shotgun mic. Good to know about the 24-70. What issues exactly?
