    I can't help but feel that the difference between deep and medium (in bright and cool) may have a lot to do with the time of year/skin tone. If you're B&C and go really pale in the winter, B&C&D may suit you better at that time of the year, but in the summer you might look better in B&C&M because your skin isn't as pale...

      Same! I am not cool, I a warm but I waffle between bright/medium in the summer when I am more tan and bright/deep in the winter when I have lost my tan and my features are more stark.

      Also my hair color is very different between summer and winter! In summer I can have almost toffee brown highlights. In winter I'm usually quite dark.

      I think this is true for me

    This was actually helpful, I’m soft and not so bright but have definitely played with whether I’m medium or deep. This is more evidence that I’m medium :)

    This is a great way to split the colors! I've gone through in-person typing, and I'm really happy with the summary she gave me, and the specific colors she picked but yes, bright, cool, and medium is what I was told I was. On the seasonal color analysis, it was really hard to give me a label. I got told to use the medium and light colors from bright winter, and the dark colors from light summer. Which seems to me meshes best with bright, cool, and medium. I'm neutral cool, so can't be too cool. I can borrow a little from bright spring, if close to neutral.

    Thanks for this Jen! I had been coloring my hair for a long time to fit into Bright Cool and deep but had to keep coloring it to keep up with that high contrast appearance. I recently added some dimension to my hair with highlights to lighten the overall appearance and definitely feel more confident in my Bright cool and medium colors. This is why I always felt “off” somehow in black and white patterns.

    Thank you for this!! Really struggled to nail down a classical season for myself because I thought winters were always super high contrast. I think I'm a bright/cool/medium after watching this.

    When I saw you doing the black and white stripes I knew you were going to solve this riddle for me! I have a black and white pajama that looks SO OFF. When I tried the pink and blue stripe pattern it looked so cute on me!!!!

    Hi Jen, when I was younger, I had very dark hair, dark hazel eyes and a fair complexion. The bright cool and deep palette looked amazing. Now that I have let my hair go gray, I find that palette too overpowering on me. I look and feel much better in the bright, cool and medium color palette.

      I am the same, my dark hair is now salt and pepper so the deepest are not good anymore. Added, my darker brown eyes have lightened as well. BCD to now BCM

      My hair is salt and pepper, mostly salt. I find myself gravitating to brighter colors with the cool deep. They enliven my features. That has surprised me. That seems contrary to going softer as seems the norm with silver hair. I do think skin tone makes a difference.

    I’m definitely bright, cool, and deep. I’m also
    a neutral olive so finding my undertone was a huge challenge too. I was so confused for the longest time what type of winter I was because I’m very bright but also very dark. I figured out I’m actually a bright winter but very deep so I can where a lot of bright colors but also really dark colors. I can’t wear too dark of makeup on my face through like a deep winter can or it just looks to heavy on me. With clothes I can do really dark colors or bright neon colors. I can wear neon green and neon orange very well especially when it comes to my makeup💯

    I am definitely dark cool & medium! What season would that fall in? Bright winter?

      I honestly don't know. Your Color Style's color palettes are not a direct relationship to seasons.

    What is the bright cool medium translate into season? Very interesting reference.

    • @YourColorStyle
      @YourColorStyle  Год назад +1

      It really doesn't translate. Your Color Style is based on color theory, not the seasons. There's not a direct relationship.
