Do you think it’s still worth it anymore because of a.i.? Designers use it as a tool, but everyone else is using it to replace designers and companies are/will be “training” a.i. with work that’s already out there
Yes, in my opinion I definitely think it is still worth pursuing! As of right now, I believe that creativity comes from the human experience and a deep understanding of human emotions. I know AI can make art but it still lacks emotional intelligence to make it unique and one of a kind. I definitely think companies will still need to hire designers to bring that unique creativity to the project.
I know it can be hard in the beginning. My recommendation is to not judge yourself to hard, practicing designing almost everyday (even just 30 mins a day), you can find fake client briefs online or use prompts from chat gpt to practice, and to stop consuming other designers as much so you can find your unique style!
