The backup lock is why I bought it, I've had a knife without it close on my hand.. I think CRKT did a fine job with that feature. Thanks for the review. Good video!
I recently Purchased this Knife as well. I was Meh at first but it has really grown on me after fidgeting with it a lot. A lot of people dont like the double safety lock but after i got in the Groove I have come to like it. If you Strop it some the blade will tighten up quite a bit. It comes pretty sharp but not as sharp as it can be. I also am not a fan of serrations but I will put up with them for this knife. I think this knife feels different than most knives so it took me a little but to get used to it. The seat belt cutter makes the flipper big and chunky which I love and it makes it super easy to flip. it also rests against your pointer finger and where the handle curves out by the glass breaker between those is a perfect fit for my hand. This was my first M16 purchase and this was the one I chose. Im happy with it but I do think i will get another style with no serrations.

@@Tctbnl I believe that's the correct name of the blade. Has the typical large spyderco thumb hole but I been looking into one for a budget EDC
I’m not digging the cutter on the flipper and I’m not big on tantos. They also should have put Veff serrations on it like the M21-14G
