I believe temperature refers to the ambient temperature. Does breakdown voltage changes with load current variations as that may impact the junction temperature?
In forward bias we neglected barrier potential, forward dynamic resistance, diode act like open switch so we says that voltage drop across diode is zero bc it's short circuit and current is flowing right
Because the junction makes the holes and electrons to separate if the flow of current is reversed, thus, the gap becomes too large for the electrons to pass
Dynamic resistance is the internal resistance of a diod in a forward condition. It influences the curve of V-I because if the forward voltage is less than barrier voltage the current tends increase gradually, but once it has passed the knee point, which is 0.7 V for diode, the forward current increases rapidly. After 0.7 V the forward dynamic resistance is very small.
sir at the last moment you say that in case of forward bias (ideal)if resistance is zero then voltage across diode is zero but sir i think.....vol across diode is const it is true or false...

you're a better teacher than my professor 🙃
Your all vedios are good but at 2:51 i think nothing can be equal to infinity you should use tends to sign
sir explain about static resistance and dynamic resistance
I believe temperature refers to the ambient temperature. Does breakdown voltage changes with load current variations as that may impact the junction temperature?
hows your life after 5 years...
Brilliant: thank you.
Excellent 🔥
Hello sir can you make a video of numerical of load line analysis having 2 diodes silicon and germanium in one circuit 😊
Are high voltages (several kV) available in ideal diodes??
GREAT VIDEO!!!
verry helpful
Thanks sir
thx my hero
since diodes are non-ohmic is it ok to apply ohm's law and calculate those answers for ideal diode?
same question also from me.
Sir practical diode also has Generation and Recombination current, due to that also the graph slightly varies.... Am I right??
In forward bias, current flows but voltage is 0 since resistance is 0 too, how is that possible to have current when voltage is 0?
Because of minority carriers
In forward bias we neglected barrier potential, forward dynamic resistance, diode act like open switch so we says that voltage drop across diode is zero bc it's short circuit and current is flowing right
awesome, thanks
What application are you using in this video sir?
thanks a lot
Why in semiconductor diode current flows only in one direction?
Because the junction makes the holes and electrons to separate if the flow of current is reversed, thus, the gap becomes too large for the electrons to pass
If vd across a diode is zero in case of forward biasing, how is there any current??
Sir what is static resistance and dynamic resistance
Small resistance is called Dynamic resistance
Dynamic resistance is the internal resistance of a diod in a forward condition. It influences the curve of V-I because if the forward voltage is less than barrier voltage the current tends increase gradually, but once it has passed the knee point, which is 0.7 V for diode, the forward current increases rapidly. After 0.7 V the forward dynamic resistance is very small.
Sir pls reply what is reverse saturation current ...(saturation current) ?
See previous videos 14
What about constant voltage drop model?
Why graph shifts left with increase in temperature
sir can u provide the notes of these topic on telegram plzzz
the forward and reverse bias is the other way around..
why we cant takein both PN junction for ideal diode Vd=0?
Sir ideal diode means what....
kudos
sir at the last moment you say that in case of forward bias (ideal)if resistance is zero then voltage across diode is zero but sir i think.....vol across diode is const it is true or false...
great
