I got a 3.8 (elec engr at csulb) right now because of neso academy!! Thanks to all the people working behind the camera and the host, great channel, been subscribe since day 1! Hope everyone the best.
sir... u clear all my doubt in analog electronics... and digital as well... sir I m a electrical student... sir can u please give us lectures on power systems, machines, power electronics, control engineering.
Sir, Can you please tell the physical interpretation of resistance r_D? is it due to minor carrier charge flow i.e drift current? is the drift current and reverse saturation current same thing? is the diffusion current and I_majority same thing?
Thanks for giving a beautiful lecture about this topic It helped a lot to get good marks in my exam without this lecture, it would be hard to pass in this subject thanks a lot _/\_
as for the constant voltage drop we have made two assumptions, firstly we have to assume the linear curve instead of small non linearity and secondly we have to consider rd = 0, which is diode resistance, if diode resistance is zero that doesn't mean that Vb will be zero, Vb is constant for any type of diode. there will be sudden flow of electron, thats why the VI graph will be at 90 degree.
Can someone help Does Diode resistance depend upon Barrier potential??? Because as far as my knowledge Resistance do depen on biasing but Does it depend on barrier potential????
Barrier potential would be the point upon exceeding which, electrons will move through the depleted region and current starts to flow (already explained in previous lectures). So yeah resistance does depend on barrier potential. Higher the barrier potential higher would be the resistance

Sir, I am pursuing electrical engineering from NIT ALLAHABAD,
you are absolutely great sir,
Thanks for this hard work.

Sirji ur video delete my all doubts and create interest towards electronics
Thank you for the entire playlist, let alone the video!!
perfect analog series on internet present...

13:30
p side high potential and n side low potential its forward bias
and vice versa
WHEW. You are a saviour man ,thanks a lot.
Very nice explanation

Good explanation
Thank you very much sir🥳🥳🥳🥳

In piece wise model question. Rd is Vd / Id. Why you did minus (0.8-0.7) /10-0 ?. Please reply
R d is one by slope
And slope is (10-0)/(0.8-0.7)
Therefore r d is (0.8-0.7)/(10-0)
Amazing video but sir for piecewise linear model (or small signal model) you have missed a few points which are there in our book
9:38 if diode resistance=0, then Vb is also 0 right? Then why are taking Vb as 0.7 or 0.3? I don't get. Plz someone explain.

Same problem .. please explain .
I want to donate 2000 rupees to Neso academy......how I do this?
UPI on 8791216171 GPAY
Tell you're friends about neso academy and do free marketing worth 2000 for it 😉
Hii, I'll give you my number, send via UPI, I'll send it to Neso Academy.
Description bruh
You can donate me further I will donate it to neso academy 😁😂
Is knee potential and barrier potential the same??
I think they are same
yes
Sir reverse bias diode always have an open equivalent circuit??
A lot of thanks sir
but at barrier potential we will get some current(reading) slightly more than 0(according to the graph also), then why we consider the current 0??
It has already been assumed linear, that's why
Can someone help

sir want tp donate 1 lakh rupees to your academy......how can I do this
Parchit Malhotra Great Initiative Brother☺
have you really donated or was you bluffing ??
*were please fix your english...

Sir don't understand the determination of rd from piecewise linear equivalent ckt
shouldn't the example of slope be y2-y1/x2-x1 ? (10-0)/(0.8-0.7) ?
somebody please explain
you are right.
just apply ohm's law
Just apply Sex law
