In the three previous videos I’ve given you a lot of different vocal exercises to help you sing better high notes. In this video I’m going to teach you how to practice singing high notes in songs. This makes all the difference in your singing. Watch!
Very helpful Chuck, thank you for sharing. you are making a difference.
Glad it was helpful!
Excelent!! Thank You for all tour material! It has been great.
Thanks Arthur!
Thank you so much Chuck for your videos the're really helpful and I started feeling a slide change in my voice as I sing ,you're my vocal coach from now on.
Thanks Penaani: Glad they're helping you!
It is a great and very helpful technique. Thank you!
Thanks Zena!
fantastic lesson thank you soooo much!!!
You're very welcome!
This is such a great video to bridge that gap between the exercises and songs! 👍
Glad it was helpful!
exxelent guidance ...very greatful...thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Chuck! These videos have been really helpful, thank you! I was wondering if you could make a video about the second bridge, around the G4-A4, it's really difficult for me to pass those notes... Thanks and greetings from Spain!
Hi Miquel: You are having trouble in the second bridge, which for tenors and baritones is A4, Bb,B and C5 because you still are carrying too much chest voice through the first bridge, E4,F, F#. When you have the correct balance in the first bridge, the second bridge becomes easy. Focus on the first bridge. It is the key.
Great video today !
Thanks Sami!
Thank you so much ❤️ you are helping alot
You're so welcome!
This is great. Could you one day do a video on how to work towards singing in true falsetto like Paul Stanley does in the bridge section ("Can't get enough") of I Was Made For Lovin' You?
Andrew, He sounds like he is in falsetto to me. I would first challenge a singer to do it in head voice so his voice would blend back into chest....which falsetto doesn't.
Legend
High notes are easy but lower notes are hard , anybody can sing high it's all about good technique
hummm
Hi Chuck Gilmore! Thank you for all the helpful singing lessons you have provided! I have been watching your videos and practicing the mixed voice for several months now. Although I’ve found it, I often feel the voice “going inside” every time I sing through the passage. To fix that, apart from keeping the larynx down and maintaining the “ney” feeling, I also try to “roll it out” for a better mixed voice projection. Are there anything else that I can do to develop a stronger mixed voice?
Hi Paul...it sounds like you are swallowing the sound somewhat. Or another possibility is the tongue is getting in the way of your sound coming out of your mouth. Any thoughts about that?
Power To Sing Thank you! I tried keeping my tongue down and there was a better projection indeed. And yes, I also realized that the airflow’d been trapped inside my mouth so from now on I’ll try to make it flow out of my mouth along the tongue kept down.

I have a question one of my favorite artists sings high notes but I’m not sure what voice she uses (chest voice, head voice, ect.) Can you check her out for some tips I can use to hit them
These are some of her songs
“Good day” by iu
“You and i” by iu
“Shoes” by iu
PLEASE check it out and answer my question because when I sing other songs I can hit higher notes than these ones in these songs but when I come to her since I try to match my voice her voice for reason songs lower than mine but high at the same time which gets me confused so can you please help 😭🙏🏼🙏🏼
Watch this video and follow the directions. ruclips.net/video/d0Ob8WGmvPc/видео.html
While i m doing (NEY) should i look for larynx position?.. My larynx position is always high while i m doing ney ney
Yes the larynx is higher during this exercise. As soon as you are able to connect to head voice without breaking or straining, discontinue the exercise.
@@PowerToSing thankYou so much😃😃😃
Hello, what should I do if I’m singing a song where I can sing all the notes, but i get tired midway and lose technique as the song goes on, thank you
First check to make sure you really are using good technique. Second practice singing your songs with the goal of staying with good technique throughout the whole song. If you have good technique and it becomes easy for you no matter the song, it will no longer be a problem.
Hello sir.I have a husky & hoarse voice. I recently consult with the doctor. & He said one of my vocal chord/fold is not working properly. & He prescribe me some medicine and suggest me to rest my vocal. But after that I'm not getting a good result. This is badly affecting my singing carrier. Please help me sir. How could I get rid from it
In what way is the vocal cord not working? Did the Dr provide any vocal therapy?
@@PowerToSingSir the doctor said that the left vocal fold is not come closer to the another one. That's the problem Yea. he provide some therapy. Like produce the Aaaaaa, Eeeeee, Uuuuuuu sound. But no results. When I rest my voice it become fine. But whenever I sing after 1 or couple of days it become husky & hoarse again.
