I think for future videos like this you should not include the spells that are bad for every school like the pacifys and minion spells. Just because if you dont then i feel like most of the top 3s of these videos will be those spells and would be repetitive. Another option would be to make those spells honorable mentions to keep them there but not making them the top 3
I want to stay true to this because I think you're 100% right. only thing is that in one of my top 10s where I didn't include the obvious spells like feint, blades etc, people legit kept asking where they were.
Theres a literal enormous menu showing every single symbol. You can also right click any card and hover over the icons which will tell you exactly what the icons do.
I'd say the major problem with single target big spells that require a lot of pips like Efreet suffer from the issue of "The payoff isn't worth it" Single target spells of similar ranks should be doing LOADS more than AoE spells of the same rank. It's stupid Fire dragon and the Volcano spell do absurd amounts of damage. Sure it's DoTs, but it's still doing a lot of damage over the course of a few turns and enemies cant really ward around that very well. I miss pre-nerfed Efreet... the juju utility was actually pretty good for that cost. Also, Imma be real. I see fire getting a lotta hate because it's damage is mostly "DoT based", which is... The point of Fire..? The DoTs are a utility that's supposed to make your spells stronger. Cause you know... Fire burns, over time, it's not instant..? If you wanted better direct damage, why are you playing Fire when Myth and Storm exist for that purpose?
There's nothing wrong with fire being a DoT centered school, the issue is that DoT's simply just- suck so its not worth ever using them. Spells like fire dragon are examples of great DoT's but only because they do direct damage first, and then apply the remaining damage afterwards, if all of your damage is in a DoT, it ends up being terrible because DoT's aren't strong enough for the amount of time they take to do damage and it makes these spells entirely unused in PvE scenarios.
hard disagree on the naptha scarab, enchanted with epic its 450 damage for 2 pips and combined with the dot traps a perfect finisher after dragon to close the battle, incase its a boss or noncrit. i have it in my deck at all times and saves huge amounts of time
You really said for Tranquilizer, they could make it somewhat okay in a solo setting have it stop argo… how is that possible, if you are solo the mobs need to hit something…….they should just not attack anyone? I get you have played 15 years, but that one comment makes me feel that you don’t understand how argo works, if you think the way to make the card better is for solo play the mobs are reduced to no argo on the single player target…
I'm prob in the minority for this but Link is freaking goated. Link and Power Link can both be affected by Incindiate (which is nice in and of itself) and Link is one of the more useful spells for setting up gambits and/or conditionals. I have gone into life for my fire wizard and it's just HoTs and DoTs and it's a lot of fun to quest solo. Sure, Link is one of the worse spells if you want to finish things fast, but if you want to get through the game fast, why not play a Storm Wizard?
What do you think of Immolate paired with Fire Shield? I think it's a great option for huge damage with low pips cost, especially early game when you have no better option.
I say make Blast Off a 7 pip shad and have it be a refined shadow fire dragon. 850 base damage and 500 OT. 1350 in total, and keeps fire's identity. Who says no?
How they sticking to school identity but none of myths spells from 100 except baba yaga summon a minion? Lol or ice with shields? They jus destroyed fire icl
First ,Pires players should learn relying on detonate and stop abusing the same spell just because it's soooo good , second I think the best way ro make the minions usefull is by making them controlled by the player instead of ai
He clearly doesn’t know how to play fire, if he did then he’d understand how good these cards are, the mooshu spellement card makes every fire DOT IMMEDIATELY broken but no one knows how to play fire

I’d love a video of you talking about those symbols. Wizard does not clarify what symbols mean at all (especially on gear)

Naphtha scarab goes hard in arc 1 and especially if you use heck hound as main damage then but after that its pretty usless
