Personally I gotta disagree on a few of these. When you are working with a minion, taunt and pacify are so useful. Now you may be like, aren't minions useless? Honestly, no. I'm a level 94 in Azteca still using my minions (Vassanji currently, but also with Monstrology as an option there's so many possibilities). And all of the shield spells are also super useful when you have a minion. Over healing is always wasted, but over shielding never is. Shielding gives you more life than your life total, or it gives your minion more life than their life total. Shields enable you to give your minion more hit points than they naturally have, helping them last longer. Precision is also good when working with a minion, because you always go right before them and know what they will cast, so if they cast a low accuracy attack spell, you can give it to them to guarantee that they hit. I do agree that the sacrifice minion spells are absolute trash... you never want to sacrifice your minion because the entire point of them is that they benefit you. I've never had a situation where I would choose having more life over having my minion... if anything, I would come within the edge of death to be able to save or summon a minion instead. All the benefits a minion provides are way greater than a few pips or health.

Hey sniffy! Love the video! I'm not sure you will see this as it's been a month since you posted, but I've been playing since late 07 in beta, and in 08 for full release (when mooshu was the last world and lvl cap was 40) I played consistently for the first decade of the game (I was a kid and my mom played with me) and then on and off through the years, Novus and wallaru were great! That being said here's a tiny tip, I agree wholeheartedly that packs should have an only your school option (maybe even make them 499?) but here's a little trick, me and a couple other OG number crunchers are figuring out the formula now but there is a MUCH higher chance to get a certain school based on the school you are buying the packs from, the ones we know of so far is if you are ON a life wizard, you will get mostly storm or fire gear, if you are ON a storm wizard you will get Life, or Death/Myth it seems to be elemental with a slight favor to one. Hope this helps you and anyone else gear farming from packs and saves you your precious crowns! See you in the spiral

sick run. i’ve personally been planning to graveyard deathless as a storm in the near future without running immunity, i’ve got some ideas to make it consistent enough to be doable. i just finished soloing tartarus on my lvl 60 storm, which means i can unlock my level and quest through khrys and do darkmoor soon. i probably won’t bother with the other 2 dungeons tho, my yevgeny strat, while more consistent than feint stacking, is still pretty inconsistent, and having a run killer due to rng that late into a run of all 3 dungeons would be unrealistic. i could also use willcasts, which would make yevgeny almost 100% consistent, but i prefer not to use them, as they go against my personal set of rules for soloing

I recently returned to the game after a break. I’ve gotta say that there are SO many more things you can do in the game that didn’t used to exist. Beastmoon, Deckathalon, and Guilds are all different and challenging activities that kind of break the “blade and hit” playstyle that most people fall into with the traditional combat. What’s funny to me is that, just as you mentioned with the irony of the community, most people don’t do these activities! Whether it’s because they don’t want to put in the effort or they think the rewards aren’t worth it, I would use these examples to agree with you in saying people just don’t care about “having fun” on MMOs anymore. I’m very hopeful that they find a way to make casual gameplay more interesting, as it seems they are making an effort to do so (another example is giving rewards for obtaining certain badges). I use this game to escape real life, and literally do not care about what I'm *supposed* to do, and it's my favorite game FOR THAT REASON. I do all side quests, I read the dialogue, I do monstrology just cause I like to collect stuff, I collect badges, I decorate my house, I hatch pets, I do team-ups for fun, I try to catch all the different fish, I just... don't understand how someone could get bored when there is SO MUCH to do in this game.
