Yes you can take smaller doses during the day for stress and anxiety. We recommend 10 drops at breakfast and lunch for stress and anxiety and 30 drops 30 minutes before bed to help with sleep. Passiflora is another good choice for helping to cope with the day ahead. www.avogel.co.uk/herbal-remedies/passiflora-complex/ Both can be taken alongside Ashwagandha.
For extreme PTSD you will need to work with a practitioner. A medical herbalist or naturopathic practitioner may be able to help you with herbal remedies for PTSD alongside support from your doctor and therapist. Sending you my best wishes!
I took some in dry herb 500mg and didnt sleep and feel groggy i took calmag and b1 and mag glyinate i have low thyroid issues id like to take it again shud i take it without calmag maybe 😊
There are no contraindications with those supplements so you can take them together. However Valerian can have the opposite effect in some people so if you find that you cannot sleep after taking Valerian I would suggest trying Passiflora and Avena sativa instead - www.avogel.co.uk/herbal-remedies/passiflora-complex/ These drops are made from fresh plants. Dry herbs lose their efficacy about a year after harvest so it may also be that the dried valerian supplement has been harvested more than a year ago. I hope this helps!
Hi Vi Herbal remedies such as Valerian are not intended to be used for severe depression as they are unlikely to be effective, sorry. This is one situation, if you wish to treat it naturally, where you could seek the advice of a Medical Herbalist. They can formulate a personalised treatment plan for you and also liaise with your doctor, if necessary.
Works wonders
Ah I'm so glad to hear :)
Valerian root is amazing for muscle spasms and pain relief as well. It's a great nervine herb. I love that herb 🙏
It really is!
Can I take it in the morning to cope with the day ahead? If not what’s a better natural choice?
Also can I take this with ashwaganda?

I know a fair amount of people who had to deal more with anxiety while taking THC, myself included.
Does it help with severe depression? And if it does, how much should I take a day?
