@@VINRO91 absolutely 💯 the album is worth deep diving. Especially the narrative of Tom's thoughts through his time with us. So enriched with emotion. Memento Mori is nerve racking
9:26 they didn’t change singers, however Tom (lead guitar) and Sam (vocals) were the two main song writers for their first several albums, however Tom passed away from cancer shortly after this album came out. Theres a lot of lyrics in this album from Tom about his condition, his mind set, and almost trying to accept it. Momento mori and gone with the wind on this same album are two songs that especially hit different knowing all of this.
So basically the album “All our gods have abandoned us” is highly recommended because it’s by far their best album, like “Sempiternal” for BMTH. And it also has a vary sad and touching context, so since you dove down BMTH discography and you’ve liked it, you would probably like Architects (coz they pretty much similar and often compared with each other). And it would also be a good decision to go from newest to maybe Lost forever // Lost together. So please, if you dont have enough time just keep in mind that is worth it. This band is really deserve a time to listen to
That was pretty cool. First time listen for me. Have a great time at the Warning concert! And let me know if Jeremy is really tall. I get the impression he's really tall.
I love Architects and have to recommend the Lost Forever // Lost Together album. It’s the GOAT for me. Sam’s emotive vocals are peak 🙌🏻 Thanks for the reaction and info dive 🤙🏻
Lost Forever//Lost Together is a masterpiece of an album from them, especially lyrically. It' quite heavy compared to the likes of Doomsday & Animals mind you, they definitely became more melodic after the All our Gods album. I also saw a shoutout below for "These Colours Don't Run" too & that is an oldie/goldie, again with fantastic lyrics (and a great music video to boot!)🤘😁👍
If you wanna do another song from this album I recomend Nihilist and Gone With The Wind. The whole album really is a masterpiece but it gets really emotional, specially once you know the context in which it was written
Great React! Well, Sam is the king of pitch screams. l remember I hated them at first because of the vocals. They grew on me after I first heard ANIMALS.
Every BMTH, Spiritbox and Bad Omens fan like you needs to listen to Architects, one of my favorite metal bands apart from the three I mentioned before. Edit: BLEGH!
Id wager that most tracks from For Those That Wish To Exist would tickle your fancy, as well as their last two singles. They have a bit of a similar tragectory to BMTH in terms of their sound evolving over the years. Both leaving behind some metalcore roots, but Bring Me going the electronic experimental route while Architects went more towards alternative rock.
Always saw this song as more of an angry reflection on UK/US involvement in Iraq. The band has always had a political slant to them and the lyrics mixed with the iconography of Blair and Bush always seemed to imply to me that’s what they were talking about. Great song and thoroughly enjoyed your reaction. If Animals is more your thing there’s a lot of songs more in that style than this on the rest of For Those That Wish To Exist and their most recent album. But the three album cycle of Lost Forever//Lost Together, All Our Gods and Holy Hell is my favourite run of albums from any band ever, you can’t go wrong with anything off them.
Architects song six sounds amazing, most of the members are the same, Tom passed away from cancer a number of years ago, he was one of the founding members.
I found architects through bmth and Spotify suggestions. They do more singing mixed with screaming now. Curse is a quality song. Not a massive fan of this one.
The Album is masterpiece

Architects - these colours don’t run

Wicked thanks!
i mean i still think their best work is hollow crown, lost forever is a close second
@@Sobek15 guess it’s just a matter of opinion
Great reaction! The singer of Architects is a guest on BMTH Suicide Season album, so I hope you will enjoy it 😇
Wicked!!!
Architect's newest single Curse was produced by BMTH's Jordan Fish. Really shines on Sam's singing
Wouldn't be a bad idea to go backwards. There is a holy trinity of albums from them few albums back.
Blegh🖤
I absolutely love this band, Gotta check out Curse it's a banger.
Doomsday and gone with the wind are phenomenal. They have amazing lives, especially to album For Those That Wish to Exist
Doomsday main riff is one of my ever favorites that song and Animals two of my Architects favorites
That was pretty cool. First time listen for me. Have a great time at the Warning concert! And let me know if Jeremy is really tall. I get the impression he's really tall.
I’m 5’3 everyone is taller than me

Yeah I love the pitch screams
First ☮️😎
🥇
I love Architects. The bands story is pretty sad, but the music is poignant. Sam was on the there is a hell album by BMTH as well
Sam was on, the sadness will never end. It is on the suicide season album.

@@ashlenamusic yeah now you cant sell merch that says Blegh lol
Maybe you would like Modern Misery by them. That's from the same album Doomsday is.

So Sam hasnt always been in the band but its only the first couple of albums that dont have him and they have like 10 now ahah
Architects song six sounds amazing, most of the members are the same, Tom passed away from cancer a number of years ago, he was one of the founding members.
So sad
would recommend to listen to beartooth, the plot in you or electric callboy
There are full album reactions to beartooth and the plot in you already. Electric callboy too, but only 1 live song yet
I gotta do more EC but I’ve done beartooth and TPIY. I also went to that tour with them and Sleep theory and invent animate
Noooooope. Screamy McScreamerson is toooo much for me, Ash - I tried lol
🤣🤣🤣 it’s ok

Not a fan of the genre
That’s ok!
My goodness… how can someone understand the lyrics? He shouts so loud! That’s not singing for me, no matter how great his voice could be
Hahaha I always use the saying “he screams so I don’t have to”
