Buy it then install new blend door actuators (BDA's) for left and right blend doors. Then enjoy a very comfortable car on the highway.
I own a gen 9 2013 for 9 years. Brakes and tires is all I have done aside from oil and fluid changes.

I had to replace the actutors on mine too. Both started tapping at different times. I love my impala.

I just inherited one of these from my dad: 2014 Impala LTZ Limited. Thought I would never drive a sedan, but it was free. Mentally it's taken some time to get used to being seen in one of these, but the car itself is fantastic. Rides great, lot's of trunk space, good power. Just took it on a 3 state 3000 mile road trip. It was great. No issues. My only complaint is the very high rear deck lid: it's difficult to see the ground out the back.

But why do you need to see the ground out the back? If someone is aggressively tailgating then you'll still see their hood only. 😆

Sorry for you loss but they are good comfortable cars.

I got my dad's Impala too when he passed away from covid in 2020. It's just like this one but a 2013. Same color exactly. It's an awesome car. First car for me. I've had pickups all my life. I'm so glad my mom gave it to me. Sorry about your father.

I have the same car same color same year but mines the LT base limited 2014 .it currently has about 133 thousand miles on it I been driving it since 2014 when I got it .I drove from California to new york twice and I drove from California to Nayarit Mexico once .I can proudly say I have never had no problems with this beast of a car .🙌🏼💯🔥 It is very strong still long distance car on the freeway. Fast car .aslong as you keep up with the maintenance . motors oil , transmission fluid breaks good tires .I think it will outrun most of these newer cars
