Well done son!! It's nice to see some young people rolling up their sleeves and getting involved, and not afraid to get there hands dirty!!! Hope to see you do alot of builds in the future!! People need this to keep there minds off all the horrible stuff that's going on in the world today!! Thank you my friend!! God bless you and always stay safe!!
I can’t agree more!! This hobby is the best escape from all the bs in the world! Thanks for the kind words we appreciate it!! Cheers have a great day!!
Ordered the Vanquish phoenix portal kit to do this exact swap. Glad I came across this video for sure. Going to use the Vanquish axles on my current trx4, so both will stay running lol
@@ProNoobRC I seen another comment mentioning that gearing was an issue? Is there a good solution to that? Maybe portal delete, as that would definitely gear it up a good bit
@@ProNoobRC Ordered those with the bearing plates, aluminum trans stand offs, and full light kit too. Ordering a Holmes svh800 servo for steering, and still deciding on the remote to use for it. Was wanting to use a fusion pro 2n1 2300kv, but that's limited to 3s, and not sure if I should get something that can handle 4s or not?
Nice build lads... I have been led to believe the front axle didn't have enough offset for driveshaft to get past VFD transmission at front. Apart from that one custom link it was all pretty straight forward...CG on this set up would be greatly improved with VFD. I'm in the process of grafting Capra running gear into Trx4 chassis just for something to do. Enjoy custom builds, so really enjoyed this video. Well done. Cheers 👍
Nice build!! As budget build would this cost less than ultra? Also you can use 3 gear transmission with chassis kit should have both mounting plates. If you get one out of axial be cheaper than VFD.
Bro great build i have everythin but having trouble with the custom s link you made i have a few traxxas links but you said its a 80mm . Im confused i have a sport but non of the links is 80mm . Do you mesure it when you bend it or its 80mm when straight? Thanks in advance
Yes I am working out smallest spur and largest pinion It can fit. I also ordered the 21% overdrive gear transfer keys gears and I ordered the overdrive gears for the TRX four axles between all that I should be able to get this thing on par if not I’ll just shelf it and build another LOL
@@ProNoobRC Awesome, How is the Center of gravity on this truck? Would it pass as a comp rig? Planning to make my own version with the 3 gear transmission from VP. Torn between this VP chassis or a low cg like the Gspeed
I just bought the new vs4-10 vfd twin and chassis and was thinking about doing TRX4 axels under it and having the 2od options and you can make it 2wd or 4wd and it has dig
Joys of being Canadian lol. Everything is expensive! Kills me if I order from Traxxas direct the government charges me tax and duty on top of high shipping so cheaper to buy local
Everything is outa pocket for us lol. Cost and hobby don’t go hand in hand for me lol. I have an insane collection of high dollar rcs so this one was actually a cheap build for me.
Just to gain remote locking diffs. We have a vs410pro and a vs410 ultra and got bored. But honestly this truck is a blast to drive and knowing we built it makes it that much better to us. Cheers have a happy Easter weekend

Vanquish makes machines gears for trans. The factory ones are sintered metal junk. It’s like the particleboard of the steel industry.

Cheers mate! Yeah she was an easy build and works great!
Wow im so jelly fish lmao such a dope build 👍🏻💯 that's what this hobby is all about Bravo my friend
Cheers buddy! Yes dream build for past few years! It all fit so well it was almost too easy!
Really sweet project! Thanks for sharing! 💯👍🏻
Have a great day and be safe out there!
For scale tires you need some pro-line bfgoodrich km3's or krawlers. Perfectly scaled tires that work.
Agreed! Anything but Hyraxes
Nice! That build and body are stellar!
Nice build I like the old body
Cheers!
Bravo ! Super camion 👍
Cheers! Glad it all worked out in the end lol
what wheelbase does it have and what kind of shock absorbers are they? Thx
12.3 inch or 313mm and we used the Trx4 shocks 90mm but recently grabbed so incision 80mm to try on it
Awesome vid content 👌
Thanks brother!
Luv the build mi big bro!
Wat about overdrive and underdrive in the diff's??
Awesome vid as usual mi familia!!!
😀👌🇺🇲💯🙏
It’s the 7% built into t case from stock my brother!
Great Build! Is your panhard link hitting the diffhousing? Wondering if its just my setup or a general problem...
Yeah at full collapse it rests on top the diff housing.
Very nice project 👍
Thanks boss!!

Yes the chassis comes with 3 gear skid plate. The VFD upgrades it to the low COG skid
And no more expensive then ultra if you don’t add the ultras electronics in.
@@ProNoobRC Ha ha, no electronics is all the rage here in pixley, we call it
" free style " : -)

I’ll
Have to go back and check for ya! I’ll post a shirt tonight for ya on it
Harley Designs did this build about 5 months ago.
He didn’t do the VFD trans or DIG just Trx4 axles under a vs410 chassis and 3 gear axial trans I do believe. This ones a bit different check it out.
@@ProNoobRC Which is more competitive for sorrca?
I’ve had mine built like this for awhile but running a castle system and the biggest problem I’ve hab is gearing its extremely low geared.
Yes I am working out smallest spur and largest pinion It can fit. I also ordered the 21% overdrive gear transfer keys gears and I ordered the overdrive gears for the TRX four axles between all that I should be able to get this thing on par if not I’ll just shelf it and build another LOL
I’ve always wanted to do this, looks good. How much did it cost without electronics, body, and wheels?
$1190 Canadian also with out the reefs 777 servo. She was damn near $200 Canadian dollars.
Do you have a running video for the performance of this truck?
Soon just waiting for summer time to show up. Big snow storm just hit

Why is the file stuck to the drill?
It has a stupid magnetic slot on top of it lol. No idea why!
What drive shafts did you use for this build
I just bought the new vs4-10 vfd twin and chassis and was thinking about doing TRX4 axels under it and having the 2od options and you can make it 2wd or 4wd and it has dig
Yes that would be an awesome mod I would like to do that too for the dry shefts I’m just running the stock Trx4 ones
Well maybe you can do that build soon would love to see it done
Also what panhard did you use the one for the TRX kit ?
Great Video!!! I make traxxas videos too!!!
Getting hammered on them servos their 30 something a peace from traxxas
Joys of being Canadian lol. Everything is expensive! Kills me if I order from Traxxas direct the government charges me tax and duty on top of high shipping so cheaper to buy local
Lol I’ll pay you to make me an upper link like that for my build!
Can do!
@@ProNoobRCsame lol still offering?
Come on, challenge yourself, put 4 links on the front axle...hell try 5 links.
Bahahahah!! Just send it!!
@@ProNoobRC hahaha give me a day or so...
Non cost effective.i bet you didnt pay for it!!

cant see why you have done this trx is nowhere as good as vs410
