I’m new to Peruvian dishes but have enjoyed them. I’m definitely going to prepare this for my Peruvian friend. It looks amazing. I need to watch how to make the mayo for my causa dish
Que rico !!!!! in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 we make also a version call Relleno de papa yumm yes the secret is to make sure to leave the potatoes overnight on the refrigerator after boiling on paper towels so it can get rid of the moisture, you won’t have to use no flour or breading. Im definitely doing this delicious version.
Oh wow that’s awesome! It must’ve been a great wedding 😊 You will love it, can’t wait for you to make it at home. If you do, I would love to see a pic. Please send or tag @eating.with.andy on Insta/Facebook
Thank you so much! My partner's tia made these for lunch a while ago and I just assumed it would be impossible to make, but I'm going to give them a go!
Look beautiful, and brilliant!! Peruvian literally invented the potato, so I am sure they also have the best recipes. However, not a big fan of raisins. I'll just take them out, or sub for black grapes.
@@eatingwithandy9429 Thanks Andy. I had tried to make this recipe before but the Papas Rellenas were falling apart. I found your video so inspiring that I will try to do them again.
Adolfo it could’ve have been the type of potato you used. I recommend using a starchy/floury potato like Russet which you will find in America! Another thing that might’ve caused that issue is you ‘over-mashed’ the potatoes making them gluey in texture. Hope your next attempt turns out good 🙌🏽
i was kinda just listening to the video instead of watching with my eyes. and then she said what I thought was add the garlic, salt, pepper and then human. that got my attention. But jokes aside. I love this dish and this channel.
That would be amazing!! I would love to send people my recipes 🙌🏽 Maybe in the future I can organise an Eating with Andy RUclips special where I cook some of my channel recipes for you guys!
Hi Eddie. You can mash them but make sure there are no lumps! After mashing them you can press them through a sieve to make sure it’s really smooth. Good luck. Would love to see a pic when you make them. Please tag me on Insta/Facebook @eating.with.Andy
Hi Jonathan! I get mine at Coles in Australia. If you're not based in Australia then I would recommend using a starchy/floury potato variety (one that is good for mashing) like Russets or Yukon Golds! I would love to see a pic when you make them :) Please send or tag @eating.with.andy on Insta or Facebook...
