emergency" that was us. The big thing was debt all kinds of it, cars mortgage (although our home isn't a high price one), student loans for our kids, and of course credit cards.
One day we just got sick of being broke and went total scorched earth and became frugal overnight. Paid it all off, it took almost 5 years but now we have no debt and this year our savings rate is 50% on basically the same income that had us perpetually broke. So for us it is mainly staying out of debt and watching our spending, at first it was a real effort to save in our HISA and 401Ks but now it's actually fun watching our money grow. No car or vacation or neighborhood is worth being broke or financially unstable.

As a person who lives in South AZ, its getting out of control. I feel for these people coming from broken down countries, but there are a lot of bad actors coming in as well. We've already caught people who are on the terrorist watch list and I can only imagine the amount that got through that we didn't catch.

Immigration in America have always been about disenfranchising blacks.. it's not by accident right after the civil war the floodgates was open for Europeans to flood in here and take job that would otherwise went to the newly freed blacks

I'm talking historically I'm not even talking about Hispanics or natives I'm talking the flood of Europeans that came here after the civil war, you got millions of newly free blacks that's going to need jobs... Instead strategically Europeans was told to come here by the boat loads.. and one of their tasks were to keep the blacks in check and that's how Irish people became heavily involved with law enforcement till this day... I'm all for Mexicans coming to America they do good work for fair prices...
But when we were talking about people from everywhere in Latin America coming here by the millions.. Americans that's already here are going to lose out and usually that's black Americans....

And I didn't really care for Africans taking their land back because after so many years Africans no longer knew how to farm the land and almost starved to death once they kicked the white Farmers out and they end up having to give the land back to the farmers and begging them to come back and feed them
