I like P.S.Y. Bar in Kabukicho, great bar friendly bunch, some of the staff speak English and they have English menus, It's a rock metal bar, the prices are on the higher end.
Homie. I say this as an industry professional: Take yourselves to High Five over in Ginza. It’s run by Hidetsugu Ueno, who is essentially THE Bartender in Japan. Most of Japanese Bartending (as in the style) is people blindly copying his style and techniques. His apprentice makes all the drinks now, but the cover charge is super low and they’re the best in the country. They’re surprisingly low profile too.
I think to get a 0-review bar is to find a bar that isn't even registered in Google maps. But if that's the case, it might be only catered to those who can read Japanese.
got back from my trip over there a few weeks ago. i miss the bar hopping so bad its so much fun. please do more videos like this, even if its not with a gimmick. i just love seeing people go out lmao
It could be a fun experience to go to a live jazz bar, where people just gather and jam. It might be pretty hard to film though, but it could be a nice experience. The one i've been to is called Jazz Spot Intro, and there is its neighbour cafe cotton club as well. But I'm sure there are closer ones to asakusa as well :)
